Are you running it as admin. If not right click on the .exe then click run as administrator.

Well thank you for trying to help Mr. Bueller.
FAQ had nothing on this issue.
I did look at the above post and somwhere in that post someone asked this very question and the answer was "NO" the above fix is not for the crash to desktop. So Again I will ask for help on this issue as my computer can't even get to the handshake one :}
And yes I am running as Admin to no avail.
And before someone posts to uninstall and reinstall that too has been done multiple times.
So I will ask the question at a different angle.
Can someone direct me in the proper direction as to fix my game so it will not crash to desktop when I try to load into a server. I am a graphic artist but that does not mean that I am computer literiate.

so it only happens when you load onto a server eh? that would have been helpful in the beginning.
FYI there is a resolution for that issue in the sticky.
Set your PR resolution to match your desktop resolution, which must be greater than 800x600 (min 1024x768)|TG-6th|Ferris Bueller
