Help
Hi guys I've been having problems playing PR in the last while. My machine is dual core and i ve been told that turing one off to play the game may help. does anyone know if this is the case and how do i do this. i heard its a game setting...........

you can go into ctr-alt-del while playing the game, go into processes, then right click BF2 and set the affinity to however many processors you want. i have a dual core though, and have no problems playing BF2 except because of my graphics card. i don't advise you turn one of the cores off since that will reduce your performance by half.
then again, i'm no computer technician, so i wouldn't know, go ahead and try and see if it makes a difference.
btw, there is a technical problems thread at the top of the page, i suggest you use that next time or go to the technical problems forum.
