Re: Operation Barracuda
Out of curiosity, what are the differences between the 16p, 32p, and 84p versions of Barracuda?

Re: Operation Barracuda
I would hope there would be some consideration to the developers from this thread.
THanks all for the comments.

Re: Operation Barracuda
The us has only an issues if they do not set up an firebase or 2. Agree that capping one flag can be difficult, if the attack is head on and uncoordinated.
So 6 manned choppers at the start of the game, once the game is underway, have maybe 2 attack choppers and 2 helicopters manned, that should be more than enough.
And as for capping bridge swamp or docks, dont run all like lemmings into 50cal fire attack from different directions, the whole team is defending a flag, but at the same time, the whole opposing team is attacking.

Re: Operation Barracuda
Seriously, sounds good then. Muttrah could probably use that but then its hard to argue for anything in usmc favour when they manage to lose with a cobra loaded with 15 hellfires goes to waste

Re: Operation Barracuda
It is a great map. I like playing it, but it seems a bit boring for the chineese and a bit frustrating for the USA.

Re: Operation Barracuda
I still think if your going for docks first you rush there have your attack helos take the guys who are there and quickly put up a firebase I've seen this method work many times.

Re: Operation Barracuda
Once the Huey flight physics are fixed up in .85 it should play out a bit differently. As it stands now you really can't make the kind of gun runs you need without burrowing a new trench into the landscape (the model feels too nose heavy and low on power).

Re: Operation Barracuda
i have yet to play op. barracuda as the USMC i have only played it once as the Chinese, all these suggestions seem awesome though, and it sounds like it is a lot of fun playing as the USMC, and a great defensive battle as the Chinese.

Re: Operation Barracuda
I must say, Operation Barracuda has shown me some of THE crazy battles so far in PR. Sometimes the offense that the USMC bring to take a flag is just awe inspiring.
