    Re: Rate your skill.

My job in PR is to organize the un-organizable, motivate the casual gamer, and drive the enemy from the contol of the battle field. I strive to get the non-PR player to get motivated to achive greatness on the battlefield.

    That is my motivation.

I hope more PR - TG players do the same.

*Gah ... 4 pages, can't control myself, must state opinion!*

Personally, I think this thread is a disgrace to TG and I hope it dies in the bowels of the forum asap. It just sends the wrong message, how ever it is intended. Rated "terrible". I would even like to see it closed.

Sorry nothing personal but I agree totally, it's does no one any credit to post how they 'rate' themselves in this forum. Just laughable, simply laughable.

    Re: Rate your skill.

I don't think it is a 'disgrace', to me that is too strong a word.

But I do believe it sends the wrong message, as although it is funny, it detracts from the Community and Team Spiritedness of what TG is actually about.

So I have to agree with Wickens, rating 'yourself' is laughable, though I do see the funny side, and so have a good chuckle at this thread in forum (needs a chuckle to keep it light aswell as the other stuff). I could also say, all the mates of some known names would get good ratings, so that would be skewd too, and I'd have a good chuckle over that too.

I just hope I play with great guys and girls, as i do, no matter known (in the club) name or not. This to me is what TG is about and when I feel I play better and have fun. Fun is a distinct element, group dynamics plays alot if all are having fun and mucking in, talking and not being too serious - but playing with respect and Team (squad) Play. Skilzors doesn't matter then because it will get better by default. It is your peers that judge you on these principles, it is the egoists that wont. The first is TG the latter, not. And Tag Tg or not you will find many of the first.

    Besides, I'm such a noob.

    Re: Rate your skill.

Teamwork is useless if the members of the team don't know how to use the tools available. Maybe for the guys who have played BF2 and PR from day one, this is a given, but for the rest of us, it's not. Even for an experienced vanilla player, many of the kits in PR require a good deal of practice in order to be used to their maximum capability. An honest self assessment of one's skills with each of the tools is in fact quite useful in helping one choose areas where more training and practice is needed.
