Skill can't be measured, it can be compared in situations, but never measured!!!!

Somewhat intangible but it warrants a post ...how about teamwork?

TG at its core is never about skill.

Ditto what Grunt said. TG is about teamwork more than skill. I wouldn't say TG as a whole is necessarily more skilled at playing PR than other clans and communities we've gone up against in scrimmages, yet we've won almost all of them. Why? Because we have more coordination and teamwork than most other large communities can only dream of.

this post would be more helpful in the "Scrim sign-up" page, as we try to assign squads for the upcoming match, we could use a more specific rating system like this to assign more accurate roles for players.

well im not going to make a thread rating peoples teamwork. This was supposed to be to see what skills people are good at. Of course PR and TG are about teamwork but this thread is not for rating teamwork anyway if someone is not good at flying a transport helicopter, do you want them flying your squad to a hot LZ? I dont think so. TG is not "never" about skill. Knowing your the points that you are skilled at is an important aspect of teamwork. Who cares if your team works perfectly together but gets killed every time they try to attack a flag. Good teamwork and properly assigned skills are what makes a winning team.

    Re: Rate your skill.

You've got some good points. If you can't hit the broadside of a barn with an AK at 50m then...well then you might want to go play WoW.

I may want to renew my WoW subscription

    Re: Rate your skill.

I would say im average at pretty much everything except flying planes since I dont have too much ingame experience with that. So a 2 for those and 5 for the rest

One thing that is wrong with this system is that people are not always good at judging themselves. So if someone disagrees with a persons own assessment they should tell them.
If people are becoming so bored when playing that they have to resort to this immature behaviour I will give them something to do, call it a project. The project is "appeal a ban". - Wicks

Yeah, that's my specialty. If that were a category I'd score an 11...coz, you know, I go one higher.

    Re: Rate your skill.

I see what you are trying to get at Arem, the only thing is that, having people rate themselves can make them out to be a bit selfish, (though i don't think any of those that rated themselves so far are selfish at all) considering PR is about Team play etc etc, and certain kits are only allocated for certain squads with a certain amount of players etc...

the ribbons system is setup so players can nominate other players for ribbons that fit the actions they completed for their squad and team.

AAR's are also good ways to show how your squad/team did a particular objective etc. And how they reached that such goal, and even if they didn't how they died (sometimes several times) trying.

As much as I want to rate myself, especially since I never fly or never play the spec ops role (I would give myself a 11 just because, i haven't done it in .8 yet and might as well start at the top rather than at the bottom).

I will have to pass on this, only because it wouldn't be fair to nardini, or cougar, wolfe and hippo in tf21, bamboo, drifterdave, liquidwatch, pwn3ge, and the rest of the PR community, knowing that there is someone else better than them on the playing field. (Completely meant as a joke and in hopes to get a chuckle).

I will say that I am Frank and Ernest though , usually I'm known as Frank in Chicago, and Ernest in New York.

Basically, a 6 or lower is a negative K/D ratio for me. I suck at killing and staying alive in general, I have to work on that. I don't believe in 10s because you can't be perfect.
