Naval Assult Night at Tactical Gamer

Date 10/04/08 Time 1pm PST

We're going to try out a USMC anfib landing Roatation on Saturday this week. Password is available in this post - please read the entire post. Be on teamspeak at 1pm, match starts at 1:30pm, so each team has about 30 minutes or so fill up their side. Teams will be on a fist come first serve basis. Admins will be looking for team switchers. Know that I will make your stay at TG much shorter if you team switch. We will run 3 maps Jabal, Op Baracuda and muttrah 2. Round start timers will be set at 15 min to allow both teams to formulate their plan.

Patience with the admins organizing this event is urged!!! We will have little tolerance for being hassled - be forewarned. Also please note that this is a passworded event, violations of rules will be met with harsh punishment.

Each team will need a CO to coordinate their team. Normal rotation will be restored around 6pm PST.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on.

What is "team switching" defined as? We know that team-switching to be on the winning team is not allowed. However, I have seen several SMs say that they will teamswitch at the beginning of the round to play with people that they know, and I sometimes do the same.

it is when you switch to the other team at the end of the round, the beginning of the round, or after you load up and then switch to the other side.

because you want to be on that side/use that sides assets/...though i tend to see people doing it for the assets alone or if they want to just play as the US or brits (that includes teamswitching every round), and not as the chinese, militia, or insurgents.

Okay, I think I understand. This coming password night's teams are going to be setup based on your random chosen team when you connect to the server, and team switching of any kind is not allowed ever for any reason. Do I understand correctly?

I'm jsut wondering, why can't we randomize the teams after every round? This will give a fair chance of there being equal teams.
