Re: TG is full of quitters!
Interesting, the Kotex used to be what I used to dislodge the body, the CPR function does just that, I would like to experiment as to whether or not tossing Kotex on the body actually gives any health to the "Wounded" or for all intensive purposes.. "DEAD" but not "KILLED" soldier. I used to always.. ALWAYS.. toss a Bandage on the body before I would Defib.. since the added delay to the animation of tossing Kotex, and ( Im not sure if they changed the RES code or if I'm just getting better at hitting the box with the EPI) the fact that getting people up seems to be easier now, I havnt been doing this.. But if they bandages do in fact add heath to the "UNANIMATED" "WOUNDED" player, I will most probably go back to doing this.

Re: TG is full of quitters!
Pancho, I think what he means is that, say you have 2 unconsious bodies laying there, and you want to revive both of them.
Instead of resuscitating both bodies, then sticking them with epipens, and now you have two very-fast dying guys to heal, you could throw down two bandages, resuscitate, then revive, and instantly when the guy is back in consiousness, then he automatically takes up the bandages to help with his wounds, as a normal alive player would. It's just so that you don't have to sit there healing them with your bag for as long as you would, especially when you have more than one patient to tend to.
Now, instantly, I can see a shortcut to this method. Instead of throwing down bandages, then resuscitating, why not use the bandages to dislodge the body (which is the fuction of resuscitate), then epipen right away? That way, you're saving a step, while still making sure the body is dislodged from the ground.
So... in short, the bandages don't add health to the "CRITICALLY WOUNDED" player, but they do the moment he is revived, saving some time.

Re: TG is full of quitters!
Excellent post. I was first thrown off at the title, but this post does touch on a very crucial point.
Personally I heal and revive squad members first. If I am injured I will heal myself first and warn others in my proxy to cover me. Sometimes it gets hectic when there are several wounded people, and people get worried they will bleed out, but the majority of the time its a good plan of action.
On another note, I've been tk as a medic when I don't see another squads dead or dying troops, and one of their other squad mates comes and kills me to prove a point or something. Anyways this has happened only 2 times, but it still threw me off a bit.

Re: TG is full of quitters!
Yeah, I mostly meant that the bandages would be there for the newly revived guy(s), so they get a health boost and don't take so long to get back to full health (or at least stopped bleeding) after revival, regardless of whether you need to dislodge the body or not. With the luxury of 2 medics and more time now, one can focus on dislodging (if necessary) and reviving, while the other drops 3 or 4 bandages and waits with this medic bag out to top off the revived guys. Essentially you are spending more time before the revive(s) to save time after. Just an idea -- this all requires time (and cover).

Re: TG is full of quitters!
Thats actually good thinking, since the smoke does take a while to billow, that would actually make alot of sense..
- Chuck Smoke Grenade
- Toss Bandages in safe cover location
- Stick
- Lead wounded man back to cover and bandages
That makes alot of sense.. since the Bandages animation takes so long, I Never use them.. (as Medic) this would actually speed up the recovery time of a freshly resuscitated soldier.. I like it.. thanks for pointing it out.

Re: TG is full of quitters!
Good post.
One other thing that can help the medic is for the wounded guy to crouch (assuming the tactical situation allows this). Since .8 I've noticed it's really hard to get the med kit to work if the wounded guy is prone. I have to pretty much shove the bag up his @ss. And if the wounded guy fires, I get TKed. Having the wounded dude crouch seems to solve both problems.
Also, if you get revived and you don't see smoke, pop one immediately. It probably means the medic is out of smoke.
