In arma I can fly with my keyboard :O, it is ridiculously easy to fly, hell, I can even survive when my tail rotor bugs out and I go into a spin, took a bit of practice but now its cake. I have yet to even bother flying unless, there is something like 10 tickets left, and it's not even close and there is an unoccupied transport helo on the tarmac. And that's why I prefer to let the experts fly in PR, and usually don't get anywhere a transport helo unless I know the pilot can actually fly successfully.

I can fly the helo in arma "ok" with keyboard, you'd think it would be easy, but not for me. Planes, I need a joystick or I'm grounded.

Now EA is not a crappy company by far, but being as you are 12 or 13, you have not seen them grow and can only really use your opinion based on a few games.

The Battlefield Franchise(which started with the ww2 version and bfv), is revolutionary, for the first time it has allowed 64 players to play at one given time on enormous battlefields using a variety of weapons, aircraft, vehicles, and armor, while completing multiple tasks at once, with the use of separate squads all the while communicating via VOIP/Using Mics. (this also includes bf2142) And all the while letting this happen on a sophisticated game engine that can support regular video cards etc..

And with the success of this, there are tons of mods out there now, and many more being created........now if "EA" was such a crappy company, and if DICE is a horrible game developer etc, do you think the devs of PR would spend anymore time developing PR?

Fighter and some of the younger players here might not have had the chance yet to view the movie "swingers" or maybe you have, but there is a scene with a particular hockey game which is classic. EA, was behind the creation of that game and let me tell you, EA has done more for the gaming industry than you give it credit for........maybe some of the other players here who know what i am talking about can back me up.........

    Now back on topic......

Remember it is a video game........................it is not reality, it is "project reality" aka a project, of reality being implemented into a video game........
I agree with you. However, DICE is who I really think should get credit. EA rushes deadlines, which made BF2 a lot worse then what it could've been. If DICE was working with another producer that let DICE take it's time, BF2 would've been a lot better.

how do you know they rushed the deadline? did they rush bf2142 also because it is essentially the same game but set in the future. Do you work for EA? how can you justify saying that, i am curious and don't mean to come off yelling.

Is it a fact that EA rushes deadlines? What would have been different with aircraft realism if EA hadn't rushed the deadline? - Some might laugh at this, its ok i just laughed to myself.

i think for the sake of this thread though, we should keep it somewhat on topic........and not go completely off the deep end...

Has anyone heard anything on Battlefield 3???? And 1942 will forever hold a special spot in my gaming heart.

Well, there's a lot of evidence suggesting they did. Now a days, companies don't even create deadlines. The game is done when it's done. EA set a deadline and stuck to it, which caused DICE to cut a lot of things from the gameplay.

Check out some of the videos here, and what was going to be included.

Maps that resize on the amount of players, possibly 128 players, under water firefights (guns that shoot underwater), lasers being spotted by the player, grappling hooks, hovercraft thing, and just so many other countless things that could've been fixed and refined.
