This true? I haven't tried thinking that it wouldn't work, due to moving the mouse while breathing, waiting for maximum accuracy.
You can set up a shot and let them walk into your line of fire but leading (as in firing while tracking) is not practical in my opinion.

I have found the grenade is a useful alternative to aiming at all. ;-)

What i think is weird is that if you are blurred you can still hit targets. Im not sure if it is me but it seems that deviation is not altered if suppresed.

Tip: if you suppresed someone and he has seen you move away and line-up from somewhere else. Seems to work for me!

    Re: Tips on aiming?

I have tons of problems with hitting anything moving on all distances even those below 30 meters. Yes I am aware of all the changes in 0.8 but it doesnt help much.
After many hours played in 0.8 still can't hit moving and stationary targets with any kind of rifle unless i fire few shots or more. I hope the new update will make things better.

My Tip is take automatic rifleman in squad and make sure hes ready to open fire anytime

That's correct. The basic thought is, I assume, that you didn't flinch when the bullet hit near you. Remember that all suppression is is bullets hitting NEAR you.

    Re: Tips on aiming?

Mobius as regards sniping Nathanator is spot on. Letting someone walk in to the shot i.e. 'trapping' is infinitely more preferable to following them with the scope 'tracking'.

This is actually very realistic as a tracking shot over 300M is considered a bit of a last resort in rl. It's possible in PR with the sniper rifle but you can only be reasonably sure over short distances as all the deviation factors will be much less.

General tips, keep it in single shot over 30m. Aim centre mass, unless you are very confident about headshots. Moving targets, gauge your targets movement speed and pick a spot in front of them. Let your scope settle a second or two if you have the time then put aimed single shots down range.
Its a bit more about anticipation in this patch. Takes a lot of getting used to. Some days Im fine, next day I still think I'm playing 0.75 and I struggle.

Just keep thinking 'slow is smooth and smooth is fast'!

Whenever I do that, right before they walk into the crosshairs, they stop or change direction lol.

Sniping is vastly improved over .75. The deviation when tracking a target is actually less than before (.75). Plus, the rifles are actually accurate now.
