Next TTP Scrim
Don't know if this is the right place to post, but is there any chance we can make the next scrim of PR versus the TTP guys on TG's server.
I'd suggest Barracuda as a map, or ghost train, but i know the over all contingent wants maps with more air/armor assets........I haven't played Tad Sae yet, so i really don't have a clue what that map is about.
But I would love to see TG host it and show TTP how well we work as a team on our home turf.Last edited by Delta*RandyShugart*; 11-20-2008 at 03:54 PM. Reason: took out TG rules from the post.

Re: Next TTP Scrim
We will host the next match. We are working on selecting the next map right now. The rules will remain the same: the entire map is hostile and no cheating. These were negotiated before the series began and they will not change.

Was there a Fools Road match yet? That could be interesting. I really don't mind what map it is, as long as it isn't seven gates

Re: Next TTP Scrim
I like the thought of Op. Barracuda. TG as US and TTP as PLA? It would show us up if we capped them out =P

Re: Next TTP Scrim
If we do Operation Barracuda, we would play it twice, once each as US with total ticket differential determining the winner.

Re: Next TTP Scrim
I'd definately support Qwai as a map choice. Its asymmetrical, but still balanced. Either the PLA or USA can win as long as they manage their TOWs / Armour responsibly. And anyone arguing that one side is advantaged would be mooted as long as we play 2 rounds, one each side.
If it has to be a symmetrical map for pure balance, then I would vote for EJOD 64 since it is about as close to a mirror image face off as you can get. I could also support the idea of playing an infantry only map; One of the points brought up in the argument over TG being more organized in the last scrim was that we take much better care of our assets. Perhaps running an infantry only map would help level the playing field. Then again, it might just tip it over completely and leave TTP completely in the dust, just a suggestion.

Re: Next TTP Scrim
I don't think we should do Barracuda. With baserape allowed, PLA would just rape the Hueys from the shoreline with their AA. Both rounds Defence would likely win.

Re: Next TTP Scrim
Please do a CNC map

Qwai CNC 16 would be awesome !
I wouldnt do Operation Barracuda... very long rounds and it will probably play better in v0.85.
What I think would be really fun:
Qwai CNC (16 or 64)
Battle for Qinling CNC (16 only)
Fools Road AAS (32 only for the random flags)
