Unfortunately, Cobra was seen and they had started shooting at Cobra and moving toward us, or the devastation would have been massive. I still think we got a couple of them, but it was a lot of fun laying there in the sand praying for the mortars to start landing "NOW! Please hit NOW!"
We saw the spotter and were ordered to book it as far away as we could. It was a good call, we would have gotten blasted by those mortars.

Yea when I first saw them I had to double take... It was kind of unbelievable. But I did kinda screw it up because they spotted me lying down seconds before the mortars hit they all scattered and ran towards me.

We saw the spotter and just ran away like crazy. Some towards you, but most of us just ran away form our position. I don't think you got anybody on that mortar strike

fuzzhead was leading the convoy, not me.

I think you guys killed 2 jeeps and a stryker on that IED ambush, together with a bunch of infantry. I know the 2 jeeps that my squad was in survived, as well as a stryker. We got out and started fighting some insurgents on the ground and the round ended.

I don't mind losing that way because insurgents did what they were suppose to do and layed ambush. Was very cinematic because of all vehicles exploding in front of mine Funny thing is that I was recording but I stopped right before the first IED exploded because I had to say something, so I lost the chance to capture all those explosions

Having that captured on video would have been so cool. Man, I wish I hadn't got spotted!

you know cobra, makes u want to do a promo vid cause well ramiel is the perfect set up. Just having a organized convoy moving into city. Music playing in background, then molotovs thrown. Humvee 50 call fires and gunner gets hit, infantry get out and start shooting all while the convoy progresses through. Then ieds blow up etc. Shouts hollywood ^^

I was on the US team, and we could only guess that they were trying to take a picture. I was on the squad that managed to destroy 6 or 7 caches while the rest of the time took their glamor shots. Lots of primping and whatnot going on in that convoy.

Looked cool though. I think I took a couple screens.

I was in one of the Strykers, I gotta say, some dude was shooting some pretty good RPGs at us from far away, and I'm scared of them motorcycles now, insurgents got a lot smarter! hehehe

Well played anyways, too bad US lost

This sounds like the infamous friendly fire airstrike on Kashan all over again.

We were actually reorganizing after our last foray into the city. These things take a while .

It may not have been the most successful tactic in the world, but boy was it fun!

I thought I took a screen of all of the humvees lined up in echelon formation firing into the city, but I can't find it. It looked pretty cool, but with all of the settings on low.
