Contact! enemy description! direction! distance! is all I ever really want to hear.

FLASH!!! or BREAK!!! or CONTACT!!! (aka everyone shut up!)
    Full squad, 75 degrees, 200m!
    or Full squad, North-West, 200m!

I prefer to hear North-West or some sort of static reference such as "next to blown up tank" rather than the 75 degrees. Reference from the Squad Leaders position is also more helpful because everyone can see him on their mini-map. Their direction is also helpful, especially if they are coming towards my squad.

You know what I hate though, so many squad leaders are different, one wants me to use North, South directions, others degrees, references, a mixture of some, all 3!?

Sometimes I'd rather just charge at my enemy with a knife! that'll get the Squads attention!

When commander ask for a SITREP, I say calm or shut the heck up I'm in a firefight! I use the phonetic alphabet for pretty much everything and can't remember the regular alphabet anymore. As for enemy contact I will yell Enemy Contact (Degree/Direction) and if I'm the SL I'll say shut up and let me talk god dang, you bunch of roudy children.

I also remembered I use the Green/Yellow/If I hear your gun, your gone A.K.A. Red. I always end up explaining myself though.

I like the degree system, because you can tell your gunner exactly where to look. I wish there was a set of degrees for the up down axis. That way the Squad Leader wouldn't be the only driver that can point out targets that the gunner either can't see, or was not looking in time to see.
The beatings will continue untill morale improves.

I guess that's why everybody kept leaving your squad on Muttrah a fortnight ago, maybe more.

But everybody has their own ways of doing things. at least some people!

    listen close
    to the rat-tat-tat-
    as the metal flies,
    we should know as fact:
    that unearthly demons
    are part of our pack,
    and as we engage you
    in battle we pass.
