Here's another question.

Why is it that when you try to install a large program with Vista it takes exponentially longer for the "Are you sure you want to allow this program to install..." thing to come up? And is there a way to turn that stupid thing off for a single action?

Easier just to turn it off completely to be honest. Run MSCONFIG, scroll down to Disable UAC, double click and reboot.

I think I know what your talking about (dont have vista myself, but helped my sister with her laptop once). I manage to shut that thing off (that thing that ask serveral times to ex. when you want to delet a file ect) Cant remember the name of it tho, but it should be on Start->Settings->Controlpanel->Securitycenter

Or it might be that we are talking about two different things..

Yea...I think its the UAC your suppose to turn off, it should be where I told you in the earlier post...

I was working on my brothers laptop which runs vista and it was driving me crazy. I shut that UAC off and it runs great. Seems like its more trouble than its worth.

Same here ! Microsoft did that with purpose, to piss people off.

It is the UAC. Disable it and you should be good.

for everyone that downloads slow, try downloading the torrent program named "Bitlord" always for best for me with that program, for some reason "utorrent" download slow on my computer.

So I just tried to get this on bitlord and I was at 56k/s? WTF. I usually get around 300-400 k/s on downloads. I dont use Torrents and I though I would give it a try. Am I doing something wrong?

Depends on how many people are seeding, it really shouldn't matter (to a point) what torrent program you have.
