Hey thanks for being so mature and positive man, rep that tag.
An old sage once said "arguing on the internet is like competing in the special Olympics, even if you win, you are still retarded".
I happened to be having quite a lot of fun playing the other night, and I have fun whenever I play; what would be the point of playing if I was not? I have fun when I am losing, dancing to jihad radio, or running with an inf squad that has 3:1 k/d.
There is however a difference between "having fun" and rocking out the TG way, serious business balls to the wall grit your teeth and fight for every ticket kind of game play that can only happen with two organized teams- the organization being directly caused by the amount of competent players on the team. Or cougar.
The reason I posted in this thread, naively i see now, with what I think are well organized and thought out posts was an attempt to help make the server better than it is, but I guess people can just ignore what they choose to and pounce on what they will, constructing straw men left and right in an effort to talk to themselves. hopefully the problem will get sorted out eventually by those with power regardless of my and others obviously sophomoric and childish attempts at discussion.
I enjoyed reading everyone's input that took more than 15s to think/type out, and I would have to say Boogy's post made the most sense to me going forward, for whatever that is worth.
I'll be going back to mostly lurking now, as I did for a year before registering. Now if i can find that box of tissues...

I love it most of the time. I've met some cool people.
And Paine. I feel you bro, it is one thing to talk a big game but another thing to follow through with it. I enjoy even the horrific matches. I just enjoy the good ones a lot more, and its all I'm trying to encourage.? is around the corner.
? did that come from.
? killed me.
? Who, What, Where. All the time.
The Question Mark.

Let's make a teamstacking subforum! All teamstacking threads can be moved there then, a bit like a trashcan. Then it is no problem if you find some hobo's eating from the trashcan; they will be out of sight in that back ally.

Just gotta have spirit, and maybe willing to go onto the disadvantaged team (losing whatever, I'm just trying to be nice) and help them out. You can try to help fix the problem but you can never fully fix it. The only thing you (TG) can do is to help by doing your best and the whole list of other things that would waste time.
As wreckingcrew said to me and the rest of my squad yesterday, it only takes 1 squad to set an example. As we switched to the disadvantaged team that had been disadvantaged for several rounds.

I dont wanna comment long on this, but you gotta picture it like this, numerically.
# Of people that believe team stacking isnt a big issue: Lots
# Of people that believe team stacking IS a big issue..: not so much
Now, if we take Lots and subtract not so much from that, what do we have left? we have lots of not so much.. Not so much what you ask? We have lots of people who are in the middle on this issue. And unless EVERYONE is willing to do something about it, be it talk about it in this forum, or as Jeepo has said like 6 times now, Step up to the plate and take initiative in your team.
It will take ALL of us as a COMMUNITY and not just individuals to change team stacking whether it be intentional or not. If the community wanted team stacking to be completely eliminated then it would have happened by now.
So back to numerically, there just isnt enough people who believe team stacking is an issue, or there are to many people to lazy to do anything about it. And THAT is the problem...
I went about this post completly unbiased from either side becuase it was numerical and numbers dont lie.

Solution to Stacking Teams. Revived in .85
Modify the TG PR server rules:
1) IHS's must try to achieve no more than 50% of their active unit on one team through co-ordination with the server admin.
Force the IHS's to correct the optics of imbalance.
So you only get to squad with two of your IHS and not five. At least then management can state they have legislated balance.
This should correct the problem.Last edited by Multiplan; 03-01-2009 at 09:59 PM. Reason: error

There will not be a rule on the subject.
The IHS's are truly trying to curb this issue, such as separating the 6th and the 10th. It's up to everyone though, if your team is dominating please, switch teams the next round.

Can this subject just freaking die and go away? Please?
We've got a really cool tournament set up to try and teach people the right way to play. Shockingly, most of the people who are complaining about teamstacking haven't signed up for it.
Go figure.

Re: Stacking Teams. Revived in .85
Look at it this way.
There is NO reasonable or practical way to control such a problem. And as for dividing the in-house squads with some sort of wild 50% rule? That makes no sense at all! In-House squads train together and play together. If you seperate them, what is even the point of having them in the first place?

Re: Stacking Teams. Revived in .85
I wanted to give some props to the 10th a few days ago but didn't see a good thread for it, so I claim this one. I saw a full squad of them switch to the losing side when we were getting steamrolled. I'm bad with names but you know who you were, thanks guys
