I no it feels great when you team is kicking ass and your all working as a great unit but after 2 maps maybe break up the sqds and make it fun for both sides . i like games when the scores are close and we see guys from both teams have a great round . As for the comment about joining a sqd with a talented leader i find that they are hard to get in because alot of the time they lock sqds for sqd mates... thats all im going to say about it.. heck if all fails i will just take a break from playing PR and play another one of my other games ... ...
was there a CO? did you think of going commander yourself? Were you using TS with other members of your team?

Ask to have the SL unlock his squad, it can't hurt, ask him on TS if he's on.

We all wish that the games could be close, and there are lots of times when the games are, but sometimes one team kicks the other teams ass, for a round or 2, its life.i'm an avid NY ranger fan, but this season the rangers have been up 1 or 2-0 and end up losing it in the third, or forcing it to go to overtime for tie or a loss, and then every so often like this past Saturday night they steam roll over the team they were against..........

Things go in spurts, now I don't mean to put PR on the same level of a Franchised Sports team, but not every round is supposed to go down to the wire.......

They go in spurts, but before complaining to your team as to why they are playing badly, think of how you can help out the situation that is right in front of you. What are some ways that can get the team coordinated and get everyone on the playing field? What adjustments need to be done etc. Part of PR is about being able to communicate with each other, now yes there are always in some cases those few who don't wish to help out the team in anyway shape or form, but there is a way that you can get on TS, or in game and alert an admin to keep an eye on them........

Don't always jump to the conclusion that the teams are stacked.......its not fair to both sides, a lot of the time now it doesn't have anything to do with what players are on what side, a lot of the times now it has to do with what players are wasting assets, leaving logistic trucks and support trucks randomly about, what players are flying helicopters when they should know better by now that a little bird isn't needed on korengal when there is a massive amount of RPG fire, and when you've already been shot down once or twice, but that's just me venting at a TG tagged player who should really know better by now...........

Those tickets add up, so it all boils down to communication, and teamwork.......some rounds yes the other team might have the upper hand due in part to some players that are on that side but i don't really feel that is justified because the majority of the time, at least from my perspective it really has nothing to do with it whatsoever.

**Something that might help this discussion, and this is strictly me thinking out loud, but I have noticed quite a few players over the last few weeks who only have been flying helicopters, and using assets, even using one asset strictly on one map and then when the next map starts, they only use helicopter or APC assets on the next map, and the squads are always locked........and this type of attitude and playing of strictly only assets really goes into this discussion, because lots of the times, they assets are lost, sometimes rather quickly, and other times, if a chopper is shot down, or both or all three, the SL and the rest of his 3 man squad wait at the carrier or the airfield, when they could have spawned and set up a rally and got into the fight........it all comes together, if you are a 2 man squad (logistics really IMHO is the only squad that should be 2 man) why not get a 3rd person and help the other team, rather than flying when there are no helo's needed (this also means flying them around the base when they should be on the helicopter pad, or using them when they are not needed on certain maps), or waiting for an apc, when you have ten minutes to spare.....those 3 extra bodies could very well help turn the tide, and help turn the flag to your side completely or at least get it to neutral and on the way back to your side.......

But the above is really just me thinking out loud, but it is a pattern i have witness personally for the past 3 weeks, and i'm at the point where some PM's are necessary......they might not feel they are warranted, but they are necessary........

it almost feels like tax day, except that its march and i swear i've heard the same things said over and over but with added twists..........well maybe someone this evening will take the commanders seat and put it to good use instead of typing in team chat about how things are not going the way they should.

    This might happen more if:

When somebody does a good job commanding they were encouraged to do it again rather than shot down for what could have been done better,

More squad leaders were more complient (they always follow orders, but sometimes they are very resistant),

Squad leaders gave SITREPs when warranted, not just when the commander asks,

More squad leaders gave reasons for their actions (such as when asked to move and the squad stays in one location, stagnant).

    Just a thought.

Hmm there have been a few cases of what I would call team stacking but at the end of the day when I'm on, there always seems to be at least a few regulars on each team so even if you do get steam rolled you manage to have a good time. That's what its about, having fun. Fair enough if you get beaten badly and you're not having fun, that's definately an excuse to say something and people should listen but otherwise just roll with it. I always find that the teams even out after a while so losing a couple of maps quickly isn't really a problem for me.

And the 'stacking' on TG is no where near as bad as it was on thors brigade so be happy you have a great server to play on without that problem ;]
