Re: Brainstorming for an Event
Remember fellas, as a Supporting Member, you can book TG's BF2 Private Server and do whatever ya like on it. If you aren't one, there's still a good chance you can book it anyway if you have supporting members attending your event.

Re: Brainstorming for an Event
I'd really like to see something with Insurgency - Where the entire team is majority civilians, with a few militants. Not sure how this could play out to be much fun though, as I think we all know what would happen.

Re: Brainstorming for an Event
hmm you mean,
"WARRANT"
like 26 civilians on the INS team "living" in building like the T-shape or enterable apartment building on fallujah/ramiel with 6 INS spread out on different floors and differennt rooms. The INS team has 5 minutes to prepare a defense before the US team surrounds the building (no INS player can leave the building before the US arrive).
The US wins by either: a) killing/arresting all 6 Insurgents or
b)arresting the Insurgent Cell Leader
The INS team wins by either: a)the insurgent cell leader escapes to the mosque OR main spawn point or
b) killing all the americans (unlikely)
US players who kill civilian are DQ'd
Insurgents can only attempt to escape after US arrives

Re: Brainstorming for an Event
OOO wow i like it... Ok so...
When or if we do the hostage thing. The hostages will be playing to find the "complex". As soon as the Blufor team finds the complex or is near to finding it. 3 players of the team will get pilot kits and be the hostage. No one besides the insurgents will know of the spot. While the Blufor team has not found it yet, we will just pretend their are hostages. This way no one will be stuck for 30 minutes. And to make it funner we will have a time limit, hostage execution, etc.
OMG Dirtbike races... I think this is a must. Deathrace anyone ^^ The concept of a race on TG would be great and one of those fun and skill required activities that aren't pointless but at the same time fun and relaxing. After all we, need to learn those mad cougar biking skillz and show off what we got!
Tunnel fights... This was done a while back on Koselsk it turned out to be fun. PR has many complexes that are great for siege operations and I think we could work something up.
Thanks for all the support and lets keep those suggestions coming!

A Dakar Rally-esque race. We have dirtbikes, cars (Humvees), and trucks!

Re: Brainstorming for an Event
I'd really like an event which is like 'hostage', and it has a time limit as some have said, to make it even spicier, (time limit to execution)!

Re: Brainstorming for an Event
can there be tons of helicopters and can the helicopters be flying all the time!!!!!! all over the map? and can all the people who always fly the helicopters on the server and also when they shouldn't, be the ones who just fly and then all of us can be on the ground looking at them and watching them crash and waiting to get in another helicopter that spawns, and then we can watch our tickets go from 400 to 200 in less than 10 minutes?
sign me up, i want to see that, it will be like operation archer, ramiel and operation qwai, and kashan 16 and 32 and jabal all mixed into one.Randy = Ace ! - Warlab

Re: Brainstorming for an Event
Instead of "Running of the bulls" we could have "Running of the Dirt Bikes" or better yet, "Running of the Abrams".
-Have 50 civilians line up on Al Basrah and head south from N.VCP, chased by bikes or tanks. Have to successfully reach South VCP alive, and they have to remain on the main road at all times. Grapple hooks are okay.|TG-X|WAREHOUSE

Re: Brainstorming for an Event
ok fighter first of all my plan so I will be part of the organizing comity. The ones who come up with the idea will get to organize it too. You could join. ^^
Second Randy love that idea warehouse u too. We could do something with tanks like a epic tank battle. With 32 players on each team, we could have around 15 tanks out per team. Just pure epicness.
Rock throwing event? hm we could try something.
keep em coming!
