    They are one of the more useful kits for a full squad, in my opinion. They can take down or scare off infantry, jeeps and choppers. They have lots of ammo. They don't overheat. They're as accurate as any other weapon, if used correctly, and can basically do the job of 2 or 3 guys putting lead downrange.

    If you don't like to use it, use it more and get better with it. I bet you'll change your mind.

    The SAW should be used defensively more than anything else. It should be used with 2 squads working together, you know, one squad pins another down, then the 2nd squad moves on their flank. The only drawbacks for the gun is that you are such a juicy target, you can't see much when you're looking through the iron sights, and the setup time doesn't help it.

    True, the SAW does have its drawbacks. If set up in a static position, then the SL could spot and mark targets for him while the rest of the squad moves in.

    I like the kit now but it is a very situational kit and best used on defence. I think its going to be a very popular kit in the next release because they are giving the SAW optics.
