Often when I'm CO or SL and someone isn't listening and I get on them about it: I get a response along the lines of Shut Up you 10-year-old. Same deal with the reporting. Yes I see admins online in the game, and it's typed in Global so any admin playing sees it. I know CC admins can see squad text.
Fighter when you act like a kid playing you cant expect epople to take u seriously. Today u crashe 5 trucks everyone left u r squad cause u were acting the maggot and generally not SLing at all.

Sometimes the fault lies much closer to home than u d think. As long as u r noyt messing i ve no prob with u sling but today u wer just messing around

The public forum is probably not the best place for this kind of feedback.

As for SLing; it's hard, it's intimidating, it's complicated. Do we really need to ask why people avoid it? I think we all know the answers. I've been SLing for quite a while now and I still make constant mistakes of every kind.

My best advice is this: don't be afraid to fail. Losing is part of the game, so instead of feeling bad, analyze what you did wrong (and what you did right) and try to avoid making the same mistakes next time.

Hey charity, i agree, however fighter was complaining no one takes him seriously so he cant SL. My point was that he cant be taken seriously if he act up and messes as a SL.

Its fun, yeah and CC outlines everything else. I'm just a natural now, depends if I'm in the mood for it. Watch squad leaders that you like, take it from them, don't be afraid to ask for help. Then follow what they do, apply actual military tactics, and have fun.
Start off with little squads first if you want like logistics or air transport, something simple. Then go out for some armour, grunt work, air. Whatever you want. The only way you're going to get experience in squad leading is if you just take a stab, and start actually doing it.

Also lets give an example of very tactical thinking person, for fun: My squad has engaged an enemy north of the flag, they have pushed us back and they are taking my squad out constantly.

This may seem like you are not doing anything to help your team, but think, 1 enemy squad concentrated on you, pushing you back is going out of the flag cap radius. And that means 1 less squad defending the flag, which is a huge advantage for your forces attacking the objective.

Believe me it's hard, stressing, but hell yeah, it is fun.

Like I said before, Since I'm new, there isn't much I can do. I would Really be a help if someone taught me how to SL while I am it. Then I would get a feel for it.

Set a rally point, thats about all you have to do to qualify the squad as having an advantage because of its squad leader

If you lose the rp then think about a better distance or place to put it. Improve from there and possibly think about improving the squads KDR

If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have obviously failed to plan properly.

I think a even more satisfying feeling, is being CO, and having your plan work perfectly.

Next step gentlemen, is being CO. Do it.
