    Very nice and thank you for explaining what the exe file does. Now I must dl it myself, I have 4 gigs of RAM sitting there wasting...shame on EA.

    No problem =). I only recommend downloading it if you are lagging with low graphics and yet you have a high end rig...OR you are constantly crashing to desktop at map load. If you don't have these problems then don't download, it has some clashes with punk buster that will cause you to be occasionally kicked.

    However if you do have the above problems then I highly recommend it. Solved ALL my lag problems and most of my CTD's.

    Also make sure you backup your old .exe in case you need to go back. (As explained in creepin's link.)

    I was working on one for over an hour and their database just crashed or smth like that... what a great waste of time .
