I'm nearly certian that the beta is going to be completely different from the release you are speaking of. Yeah, they could get punkbuster working for the beta... but that doesn't mean it will work for the final release. The fact remains that W7 isn't finished yet, so nobody has anyway to test on it... only the beta... in which everything about it is subject to change.

Well, if PB has problems with a "stable" OS (Vista) Than it will need a complete over haul to work on a slightly modified beta version of that stable one. (windows 7 Beta)

As i promised, everything is running perfectly. System restoration is working flawlessly which is awesome. So far i love it!

I agree that it's just a beta and we shouldn't expect much, but I've been looking on alot of sites about this punkbuster problem. There seems to be a common thread among everyone assuming that it takes 1000 programmers and 10 rocket scientists for evenbalance to get pb to work with win 7! So why should poor evenbalance even try.
In all honesty they could probably get it to work with win 7 without much trouble at all, they just don't want to.
