Re: PR Deployment LOCKDOWN!
best way is when regular player gives new players an introduction how we love to play this game.
also squadleaders have a kick button, commander can assign, reporting (then hopefully kick / ban).
show smacktards how cool and fun this game is, so they will change the mind.
often they come from vanilla and havent even seen teamwork.

Re: PR Deployment LOCKDOWN!
Agreed, although I have sympathy for gamerz's position. I am in the habit of kicking players that sit at main and spray bullets around and stupid things like that, but you can't stop players from doing everything. The best we can do as players and admins is to try to teach and provide some mentoring where possible.

Re: PR Deployment LOCKDOWN!
hm...
well i do see how the learn TG squads that i see help but only a handful of people want to learn. Its like they find it fun to play the untactical way. but i guess they are only human and hence you can't do much about. All we can do is set a good example and personaly, i think that we should give the commander more power.
Back then, you couldn't place FOB's without commander so hence every succesful game had a commander. Now that in besides better coordination, commanders have no mandatory requirment, it seems that people just don't do it. Of course those who have posted in this have and do, but just everything i say really applies at the times where irregulars take over the server late at night before the euros come in.
and ty sonic i know you loved me ^^

Re: PR Deployment LOCKDOWN!
I agree that you will become a better player through experience. I am new to PR (joined about a month ago) and have never joined a training server. The only 'training' I had before jumping on the TG server was reading the first couple of pages from the manual. I look back and I realise what a 'N00b' I was. Saying stuff like...'WTF... why do I die when I get into a tank!!!' or 'Strange...where have the shock paddles gone.' etc. I have no doubt that I have learned almost everything about PR from good SL's. Lol even Fighter has thought me something. =P
