    Bayonets aren't totally useless!

    Despite being outnumbered five to one, they suffered only three minor wounds in the hand-to-hand fighting near the city of Amara.

    The battle erupted after Land Rovers carrying 20 Argylls came under attack on a highway.

    After radioing for back-up, they fixed bayonets and charged at 100 rebels using tactics learned in drills.
    So just remember this when you are being attacked by 2 APCs, just fix your bayonet and charge. Everyone knows bayonets are the APCs' true weakness.

    Anyone have any good Hand-to-hand stories in PR?

    I held off a charging MEC squad yesterday on Asad Khal with my L85. Though having just enough time to reload before the next wave came in, I was caught reloading twice and had to fix my bayonet. I bayoneted two, reloaded, was dealing with the next respawns when I got picked off. 15-1

    Pr Bayonets are sooooo good. I managed to kill a whole squad hiding behind a rock as they were healing each other, and being pinned down by my team with alot of fire, smokes and granades.

    The Bayonet is the most silent/effective weapon at close range, in PR

    Bayonets rule all... If you ever play Operation Ghost Train and you're British, that's some great bayonet action there.

    It's also fun to fix bayonets and charge at the enemy like a madman.
