Never realised I was SUCH a RaZeR fanboy....

Copperhead Mouse

eXactMat Pad

Barracuda HP-1

Saitek II

My Keyboard is my weak linkfor sure, having broken keys etc, but with the G19 out....
These have been a long, slow expensive accumulation, having went through 2 mice to get this one, and 4 headsets until I settled on this, by far my favourite for sound, if not comfort, that accolade goes to my old Medusa's....

I was gonna ask the same thing.

I have a G15 as well, but the one without the flip up screen. The LCD is integrated into the keyboard. It's very useful for TS, as you can see what channel ur in and use two of the 18 programmable macro keys to change channels while not having to ALT-Tab out. The RSS Reader is pretty cool too.

I use a G9 as well. Absolutely love it with all the programmable buttons and 'on-the-fly dpi settings'. Different profile settings, customizable grip to fit ur hand.

I use a HP Premium Headset

Ears don't start hurting unless I play longer than 4 hours, which is rare. My wife picked it up for me at Walmart for about $25.

im very cheap - i bought my headset for 99p in poundstrecher. It's comfortable, the microphone is reasonable, but the speakers arent particularly loud though. Good thing is its very cheap to replace! My keyboard is a standard dell keyboard for £4, and i have a £5 logitech mouse. i seem to get on fine without any fancy stuff .

Link.

I 've included my custom profile, put the file 'Ghost Dog' in the 'Design' folder where you installed the program. Then right click the BF2 icon in your system tray, select 'User Design' and under LCD designs scroll down to 'Ghost Dog' and click on it. You can edit every value on the screen.

I 've only configured the first 3 buttons under the screen (the default.txt uses all 4).

- Button 1 shows the server info (as shown in the ss above)
- Button 2 shows the scoreboard (kills, deaths,...)
- Button 3 shows your squad members

The font of the screen might look a bit worse when you 're running Vista, the screenshot I posted was taken when I was still running XP. After I installed Vista, the 'Franklin Gothic Medium' font got changed and importing the XP font to Vista didn't help...

I wish the PR dev team would customize it to fit PR .

The G19 looks okay (even though I don't like the design of the screen), it looks a lot smaller than the G15 and it has a colored LCD but I 've read that it needs a seperate power supply... . Tbh, I 'd still pick the G15 v1 over the G15 v2 and the G19.

You don't need the latest and greatest to kick ass .

I've got:
- some regular ol' keyboard that came with my old PC
- A Microsoft Internet Explorer Mouse (I love these things!). Left side button = VOIP, Right Side Button = map zoom, scroll wheel click = minimap
- An old Radioshack mousepad
- Skull Candy headphones
- When I really wanna bust out the sound and there's no one else in the house to yell at me I use my super amazing Regent Home Theater surround sound system. I ditched the crappy stock speakers and am using some old Philips ones from my old stereo. It's no $500 sound system, but for $35 it's definitely worth it.
- GM Netcom voice array microphone. It's almost eight years old now but still works great, was over $100 new when they came out but I got it for free .
- Saitek ST290 Pro Joystick.

I also have an old 15" secondary monitor to see Teamspeak and monitor BF2CC while I'm playing PR.

What i got is a cheap backlight keyboard that does its job pretty well, especially when its dark and you got your keys glowing, and i got it for 15 euros !

I uses a Logitech g5 mouse which does its job brilliantly, and as Ollie said it has buttons for setting the sensitivity of it, so when i'm sniping i can lower it and be more precis. I love it.

Other then that i use some USB based logitech headphones, which suppose to be top of the line, but the fact i can't plug in while i'm playing ( i have to plug them in before i start PR , because windows detects it as its own sound driver) really annoys me, so i must plan my gaming forward.
And the output sound is sometimes bad.

So that's that, I'm pleased with my current choice and wouldn't change anything.

I recommend the logitech headphones without the plastic coating around like the above picture, but then again I live at home and don't have a computer in a so called computer room, i sit on a stool in the kitchen and often time wear and tear headphones faster than kirstie alley eating all she can at an all you can eat buffet.

Other than that I have the stock DELL Dimension Keyboard and mouse, and it works great, though i am tempted in "procuring" one of the many logitech mouses here at the office w/o the mouse ball.......but we shall see if i get around to that.

Re: PR Peripherals (PR Hardware)

Computer: I play Project Reality on a Compaq Presario CQ50 Laptop. I prefer gaming on laptops because the keyboard is flat; that makes it quite a bit easier to use the controls in my opinion. AMD Turion Dual Core Processor and a Nvidia Geforce 8200M under the hood.

Mouse: I'm partial to my little Logitech Mini-Optical Wireless USB Mouse.

Joystick:
For flying jets, I love the Saitek Aviator for the simple reason that the controls work well for PR. Unlike my (albeit quite a bit nicer) Microsoft Force Feedback joystick, this one works a lot better for flying the jets as it doesn't have the force feedback. I also find that controlling the speed is a lot easier; Since Project Reality doesn't have precise speed controls (That is, either it's at 100% or 0%, or you have to manually tap a keyboard key). The Aviator has a switch with three settings on the front: The leftmost one is not binded, the middle one is binded to the 'reverse' key (S) and the one on the right is binded to the forward key (W). That lets me forget about my speed unless I need to control it more precisely (I.E. for landing) and then I just switch it over to the leftmost setting and use the W/S keys for the more precise speed control.

I use a pretty nice Logitech Gaming headset with volume/mute/etc, but I forget what it is exactly. It works fairly well for hearing what direction something's in.

I play with:

Mouse: Razer Death Adder

This is the best gaming mouse ever, I have yet to try the new Razer Mamba which is basically the same shape as the Death Adder, but it's a wireless/wire hybrid.

Mouse mat: Razer Mantis Control - Large

Extremely good and large mousemat that let's you play with extremely low mouse sense (So you are able to get the right sprays in CS 1.6)

Keyboard: Logitech G15

I've become a somewhat Razer nerd so I actually don't like it that much.

Headset: Steelseries Siberia

This headset was originally called "Icemat Siberia". It is THE best headset I have ever had. Extremely good comfort for long gaming sessions and great sound. One of the "downsides" would be that the microphone is a "clip on" that you have to attach to your shirt or headset cable.
