Re: Combined Arms
sounds suspicously like they took the music from call of duty 4 after 50 seconds.

If they make that stuff any more awesome, people will stop playing and just lean back and watch the menu

Re: Combined Arms
Lead all I can say to that is go download 0.6 and try the anti-air missiles with someone over Hamachi. Then try 0.8 and tell me that I did anything but improve them. If I wanted to overpower aircraft, then why would I spend 3 months working on Anti-Aircraft before I was even an RCON? Go into 0.85 and tell me why heat objects were placed on the nose of aircraft, or why they have 40m proximity fuzes (with a 55m blast radius)? Please give credit where credit is due. I mean I know most devs disagree with my position on aircraft but at least admit that I have done a lot in improvements to the anti-air.
Since you've misrepresented the work we have done in PR and CA, I will correct you. Here are some points from the anti-aircraft weapons we've made:
- Early warning radar picks up anything from 3000m away. The RIM-7 and SA-19 can fire from around 2500m.
- All AAA guns have a radar tracking mode which is basically a bunch of homing bullets.
- CWIS guns on carriers can shoot down incoming Anti-Ship missiles.
- Countermeasures no longer dispense heat objects, as the missiles seekers treat them all the same, which IRL they don't. Instead the flares have 5m invisible meshes with must come between the aircraft and the missile to break the lock.
So Lead, while I don't expect any gratitude for spending my time improving anti air weapons and aircraft, I do expect you all to at least represent what I have done accurately.

Re: Combined Arms
Sounds good, the AA did improve though I often miss the blast range is gigantic for sure.
Sound is excellent as one goes past too
My main wish presently is to track an aircraft without building up the lock signal or giving a warning, so I can decide the best time to fire without risking a warning to them.
Separate the physical tracking from the electronic side

the code already there is good enough to make this positioning a factor
