    IWS Ribbon Information

    Insurgency World Series Ribbons

    Gentlemen,

    The Insurgency World Series (IWS) is more a campaign than a scrim. Based on that, we are planning to award the following ribbons to participants once the IWS is finished next month.

    This ribbon will be awarded to all participants:

    This ribbon will be awarded to the core roster of the victorious team - not replacements:

    The ribbons are a combination of the insurgent and USA colors.

    Official presentation will take place once the IWS is over and all the rosters are collated. Please stand by for the completion of the campaign for the award information.

    New information:

    We are compiling the lists for ribbons based on participation and team membership. If you have played on a team and think you are eligable for this ribbon set, contact your team leads. We cannot manage 1000 requests for a ribbon. Contact your team lead, get on your team's official roster as either:

    1. Core Team Member - gets V ribbon if on winning team
    2. Core Member or Reserve - gets the regular ribbon on team roster only.

    Contact your previous team if you think you are eligable. I will work with Katanama to process the lists into an official award post that I will do in a few weeks.

    Thanks, and thank you for supporting the IWS. It has been fun and a learning experience for me for real online coordination - even though we have never met before, we still coordinated all of this activity - pretty awesome to be part of the TG community.

    The list should be sorted alphabeticly but people should look at any version of their name that they use so if you have 10 different names that you have used (also including clan tags) look for them. I have tried where I could remember the forum name to put it in so look for that first.

    If you do not find yourself under your team roster then try looking under the reserves list since I might not have realised that you where on that team since I am not completely sure of the roster for the other teams.

    Give me a few days to release the final ribbon lists. I will make a post for that when I make the official announcement for who gets ribbons from the IWS. Working with team leads and Katanama to compile the final lists.

    Well I want to take the opertunity to thank T-man for taking over the organising. We (team C) would love to work with you Sir in the future!

    I also want to thank the original ínventers of the tournament, (do not kill me if im wrong please); A.Wickens, Disposablehero, Portable.Cougar.

    The rounds were so intense that I felt totally wasted after the rounds. Good tactics and good fighting of all teams. I also liked the fact that everybody including the reserves have been playing fair!
