Re: InGame Name vs Forum Name
I am known only by kevlarorc across the interwebs. If you find another kevlarorc screenname somewhere online it is almost definitely me.

In-game name: ParanoidSFguy
I would be really glad if an admin could change my TG nickname to my in-game nickname...
My nickname here is RangeRover21 (my nick SUCKS), because I joined TG forums when I was playing with this stupid nickname.
In PR forums: sakils2.

Re: InGame Name vs Forum Name
My forum name was my in game the 2nd time I started playing on TG's PR server, however I decided to change my in game name after playing a round of Arma on another server and finding out some of the guys I was playing Arma with actually knew Randy Shughart. (I misspelled his last name on purpose as to seem to not be directly impersonating him.)
So I decided to change it up a bit
During halloween last year i tried out 2 separate names, the first name,Bob_VilaPowerTools was the winner, but since becoming apart of the 31st, the name is too long so i decided to shorten it.
If you are curious as to what my in game name is, just look at the top left side of my signature and it shall appear.
My Arma In game name for a while was Fmr.Gov.EliotSpitzerClient#9 though only a handful will probably get a chuckle out of that one.Randy = Ace ! - Warlab

Re: InGame Name vs Forum Name
Mine's the same. Startrekern is what I use practically everywhere. It all started when a long time ago, I first discovered the internets. But 'Startreker' was taken, therefore I affixed the first letter of my name to the end.
The only other alias I really use anywhere is 'Zenn', and that's mostly in the world of MUDs.
I thought that was totally unique at one point in time. Then I googled it..

Curses. At least no one uses that as a screen name

Re: InGame Name vs Forum Name
I get bored of names after some time it seems. Or I think of one that i like better. Its a constant revolution. I played as mushroom-soil when i first started playing on TG and when i made this account. Then I went on to bigger and better things. currently that thing is essplode.

Re: InGame Name vs Forum Name
Same (only with tags in-game). I don't know why its my name. I don't even have any bandaids. That's what duct tape and napkins are for.

Re: InGame Name vs Forum Name
I voted same since my primary for all games since Counter Strike about 10 years ago has been snooggums, and I don't think adding IHS tags counts as the in game name being different. That would be like saying Dennis Rodman has a different name if he was |TG|Dennis Rodman in game. We'd still know it was the same guy.
I do however switch to different names occasionally to see if people treat new people the same as regulars. I have found that being known places definitely changes how people act, sometimes because they don't like new people and sometimes because inside jokes/knowledge about a person makes up for any odd behavior.Just because everyone does something does not mean that it is right to do.
