Re: InGame Name vs Forum Name
Back in the battlefield Vietnam days I switched names every so often plus I was really new to fps's didn't own a mic, used speakers and was kind of rambuncious (sp?), my name usually went with what was popular that week or month and the name mel_gibson and what not was used frequently.
I have thought about asking to have my forum named changed to my in-game name, however I'm so used to typing it in or having the comp remember it, that laziness settles, plus I might switch of yet again, i've been thinking that bob Ross deserves to see some action but who knows, and as Pancho has stated perfectly I have an in-game identity crisis, so keeping my current name is probably the best thing.Randy = Ace ! - Warlab

Re: InGame Name vs Forum Name
My names are all different, but there supposed to be the same...
BF2 / PR: |TG| paintscratcher999639
paintscratcher was already taken, and I got a bit carried away with the numbers.
COD4: TGPaintScratcha
COD4's silly character cap meant I couldn't fit my name in with the full tag, or name
COD5: Killroy
I couldn't even fit my shortened name in that, it annoys me. So I had to think of another one, I was playing Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway at the time and that introduced me the the legend that is Kilroy. I added an extra l to make it more COD style.
So all in all my forum name is the only one that doesn't annoy me in some way. Hopefully in newer games I will remember / be able to use my proper name lol.|TG-189th|PaintScratcher - 189th Infantry Brigade'It’s one of the characteristics of a leader that he not doubt for one moment the capacity of his men to realize whatever he’s dreaming'

Re: InGame Name vs Forum Name
My name is the same for everything more or less.

Mine are different mainly cause I can never decide between the two.
Vertigopilot (ingame name) is my personal fav because it is who am(I wish to be a pilot someday but I'm afraid of heights *go figure*). The Ali Baaba is a cool name, but I use it for XBL and people always assume I am Middle Eastern and a terrorist.PR username: Vertigopilot

Re: InGame Name vs Forum Name
He along with Ssgt. Gordon were the two Delta Snipers who risked their lives trying to protect UH-60 Pilot Michael Durant. I recommend reading book first, the author is pretty good and also wrote another worthwhile book titled "Killing Escobar."
Randy Shughart is a hero of mine, but it was a good reality check when I was asked to change my name, it made me feel guilty, especially since those players knew him.
The good news is that Bob Vila's lawyers haven't contacted me to not use his name, so it will be sticking around for a while.Randy = Ace ! - Warlab
