Re: There is no "I" in Team
just because your job on the battlefield is boring dont run off because if you want to play it like that then you can go back to vanilla. return to your post or you will be shot
.
On the battleield there will always be those we fear the most ...The Noobs...however we were all noobs at one point so show some patience and show them the ropes.

Re: There is no "I" in Team
-Help out the CO by using proper communications. They've already got enough to worry about, last thing they need is a prepubescent 13 year old throwing information at them.
-Play with the kits you know. Don't be a LAT gunner if you know you're garbage.
-This should go without saying.. stick with the SL, and support his decisions. Suggest alternatives if the time is right.

Re: There is no "I" in Team
-If you lag once while flying, land as soon as you can and find a new profession. One lagspike is usually an indication you are about to have a bunch. If you CRASH from one, don't take another air vehicle!
-On larger maps, form a transport squad. Use an APC or CO truck, just shuttle. (You can even do this on insurgency maps, just grab a civvie car)
-Call contacts BEFORE you start shooting.
-Before you hop into a vehicle, do a quick check that A) No one else seems to be after it nearby. and B) There are no squads made for that vehicle that are out in the field. They may be waiting for it to respawn.
-Please, PLEASE cover your squad medic. (and the dude he's healing)BF3 is a good game, and when they finish it, it may even be a great game.

Re: There is no "I" in Team
Always, Always, Always! Be on Teamspeak (or Mumble when it becomes integrated with PR).
When on Teamspeak or Mumble, always, always, always! make sure you are in the correct communication channel and try to keep your chatter to a minimum so that players can co-ordinate effectively.
On the battlefield communication is information and information is the difference between success and failure.

Re: There is no "I" in Team
I needed to hear this a couple days ago.
Also: Don't shoot at pilots if you want a ride.
When you get a ride, chill with the needless door guns
Riflemen, your ammo bags refill more than grenades... (epi-pens!)
Don't say "Grenade!" after you've already thrown it and expect anyone to have time to react. Give as much warning as possible.
Count rounds! (or at least have a descent idea!) I have had fellow squad members die and after picking up their kits, they've gone through about 5 clips without firing more than 10-15 rounds. I'm not saying don't reload if you have 3 rounds left, but also don't reload if you've only fired 3 rounds.

Re: There is no "I" in Team
Make a TOW squad on Quai and also take the Engineer Kit as the SL, then lock it to 3 players making the 3rd man useless.

Then crash it into a stryker in a head on collision. Killing everyone inside each vehicle. Bonus points for a whole INF squad in the stryker.

Stolen from the heroics of a 15th member:
- If your team's only tank is trapped at the mine on Qwai, dive in front of it and valiantly take a fluke TOW missile hit to save it.

Re: There is no "I" in Team
As SL, state your intentions to your squad. They will be better able and more likely to support you.
As SM's, stick close to your SL and support his decisions.
Don't shoot at anything that moves. If you spot enemy contacts, inform the squad and wait for them to ID the target(s). Flank the enemy and or open up as a squad instead of giving away your squads position before they can defend themselves.
Armor should support infantry, and infantry should support armor.
There should be an award for best teacher. Help noobs grow up to be just as good, if not better than you.
