Breeder - Twilo Thunder
However, the time it takes me to alt tab out load it up, play it, then alt tab out to press pause unfortunately isn't worth all the effort, plus if i'm on mumble i don't want to be spamming music and be a disruption.Randy = Ace ! - Warlab

Re: Music while gaming?
While playing PR and Vanilla BF2 I always use my headset and somtimes I leave the radio on, but never play music through the headphones.
I have stay MEGA focused to understand what my squad says and to try to speak properly and music doesn't help with that.

Best when medic :-) Also, 311 is a favorite when I'm a medic. Any reggae will do when you're bringing people back to life. It's good for the soul :-)
I never listen to music when I'm squad leading.

Re: Music while gaming?
During my pre-mic days while playing BF2 Vietnam or Counterstrike during various late night paper sessions, I played music, or blared the in-game music on the choppers.
I still will listen to the radio and get some good classic rock, or even sometimes a local radio station will play some good R&B, rockabilly from the late 50's and early 60's.
Though there are times if I can hook my iphone to the clock stereo in the kitchen or find an old CD, I'll listen to some old Global Underground Compilations, or some old Essential Mix DJ Sets, or some of these DJ's: Anthony Pappa, PVD, Deep Dish, Mauro Piccotto, Diggers, Dave Seaman, Sander K. etc from the following years: 1999-2004/5 call me a snob, or call me old, but I can't stand the electro stuff that many of my fav DJ's are spinning, maybe its me but i can't stand it.
Sometimes some good DJ Sets really set the tone for my gameplay, and once I get into a groove it all clicks in.Randy = Ace ! - Warlab

Re: Music while gaming?
Some flashback songs are really nice sometimes... Some are classic!!!!!! The other day I was listening to a Eletronic Music radio station here in Brazil and they played Sandstorm, by Darude... It reminded me of years back when I started hitting some clubs!
Also, I was in a club here in São Paulo and they were playing some old songs, and they played Mr. Vain by Culture Beat...
I'm not sure if those tracks also bombed the dancefloors where you guys live, but here definetely, it did.|TG-69th|Kevlar

But add (in my books) one of the greatest artists on the planet. A superb singer. And one of the most beautiful women on the planet and you get..

Re: Music while gaming?
hearing the enemy is so important that I never have anything else going on when I'm playing seriously.
If I am just goofing around I listen to alot of classic rock.
