    Problem With Mic

Hey guys whats up a couple of guys said to post here about the problem im having. The headset i am using to communicate with players on PR uses audio jacks but the sound that comes out of me headphones also seems to be played over the mic. An example would be if im in a Helo or Truck and i try to talk, everyone hearts all the background noise to going on and not just me speaking which it should be. Any help on fixing this problem. Thanks for the help

Most likely you have the mic plugged into the wrong hole. Otherwise you have some configuration issues with your soundcard.
Just because everyone does something does not mean that it is right to do.

Are the mic and earpiece leads seperate jacks?

If they are im at a loss also mate.

Could be a faulty headset.....does it happen in other games?

Good APC squading with you the other day too.

Depending on your audio drivers. You may have the recording option set to "What U Hear" in which case they'll hear what you hear and your voice through mic.

I had this problem when I first stared using my mic, any chance your using Creative SB X-fi or similar sound drivers? If so open it and mute the mic channel. It should stop it being played over the speakers.

    Hope this helps
