Invisable FB and kashan triangle
Hey all.
I built a firebase on Ejod desert the other day in B6 area (the usual spot one goes up) and within a few minutes an MEC tank came and completely destroyed it, the crates and an MG nest. There was no trace of its existance left, yet it remained a valid spawn point for the whole round. Anyone ever experienced this on same or other map?
Also, myself and TMAN were operating Bhawks on Kashan when we discovered a lag spike area around south bunkers. His helicopter also got stuck in what looked like a tornado vortex (just kept spinning around) which was both hilarious and weird. Anyone else found problems with helos in this area?
Supernatural PR anyone?

Re: Invisable FB and kashan triangle
The rally staying after the base is destroyed is a known bug per the PR forums.
Did the blackhawk take damage before the spin? I've heard that very, very rarely the tail rotor destroyed effect seems to happen in multiplayer.
Pics or video of the events would be cool.Just because everyone does something does not mean that it is right to do.

Nope he was flying in and then vortexual madness! Looked really funny.
Heres the only pic i have of the magic firebase. U might have to DL it and zoom in, notice the FB icon is gone from the spawn.

Re: Invisable FB and kashan triangle
The permanent FB spawn bug has been known to affect all maps without relation to factions.

Re: Invisable FB and kashan triangle
It happened to me 2 different games weeks apart. You fly into the bunkers, and turn left and spin-o-mania. Wierd. Only on Kashan.

Re: Invisable FB and kashan triangle
Spawning on these is a clear exploit, yet it happens all the time. Just make sure you don't do it yourself, especially annoying to see tagged players doing so.

Re: Invisable FB and kashan triangle
Every time I see the title of this thread, all I can think of is "Your flightpath takes us directly over the Kashan Triangle. Are you mad?!"
I would seriously like to see a video of this happening. Can you maintain flight just fine while spinning? Do you keep spinning for the rest of your time flying? How fast do you spin? Oh, so many possibilities (just think of your rotor smacking a MEC soldier as your blackhawk spins to the ground)!
