It's weird, PR is the one game I can alt-tab out of no problem whatsoever, even when loading a new map. Every other game either takes a while to start back up after alt-tabbing, or just plainly crashes.

has it something to do with the sort of graphics card / driver?
i have a 4890 with cat 9.6 and i crash.
so someone who is not crashing what graphics do you have?

I had a 880GTS and now a GTX 275 and never once crashed at all, but will soon fin out about the new patch I guess.....And has ANYONE noticed if the prone diving "fix" was worth it all?

No alt-tab crash with a 9500GT, 2GB (? maybe 1?) but having TG on Kashan while Im at the "Join Server" screen crashes me. Can't play Kashan guys!..maybe? No idea what my comp is doing thar.

I don't crash to the desktop but the one time I tried the game locked up when I tried to go back in, just had a black screen and the appropriate sounds (including squad chat).
Haven't tried it again, won't turn off AA, won't give up my new widescreen support. Hope they fix it since I used to alt tab out all the time.Just because everyone does something does not mean that it is right to do.

Hotfix works, I actually alt tab in and out faster than I did before the most recent 1.5/.874 patches.
Just because everyone does something does not mean that it is right to do.

I get kicked for a md5 hash fail if I use the hotfix. other than that yes it works fine <-- kicked from TG server of course, I don't play anywhere else...
