Re: Retro maps still work?
I would also like to do Retro night again, I missed the first one and would really enjoy a chance to play the retro maps again in a TG atmosphere.

I don't think it would work with 0.87 and the 1.5 patch. I don't know if the Devs are going to try to update it either.

Re: Retro maps still work?
I would love to see them in regular use, if it is technically feasable. Any map variation these days would be a good thing.

Re: Retro maps still work?
Retro maps can only be run on a password-protected server as not every player has downloaded the client versions. Also, to comply with our license agreement with the Project Reality team, we must run those maps on a password-protected server.
I think the previous experience we had with the retro maps is that they're awfully small and this tended toward very spammy game play. We can run them again, and very well might, but there is a good reason why they were retired from the PR releases.

Re: Retro maps still work?
They should add in the big maps, even those from BF2, as they aren't bad at all in Project Reality. It's the players that makes the outcome of a game, not the map itself.
