    Where were you?
    All over the Fools Road.

    What did you use?
    Technical, RPG's, RKG's.

    How did it work out?
Got a handful of APC's across the map, including one in the H column with a field gun, and RPG's. Chased Dreadnaught and Bullseye around with technicals, and managed to get my first RKG kill in months while Viking talked a bunch of trash saying I couldnt.

At one point you just killed NorthPlum; I bailed and survived. I came looking for you and got about 7 meters from you crawling in the grass before the technical came up and you hopped in and drove toward train depot. I had a scope; otherwise I would have charged you. (probably should have anyway)

    Re: Your last ambush

We had a medic so it is prolly best you didn't.
During that same round, with my RPG I shot a BTR that was rtb with a full squad. It became tracked and crashed into the bridge and all the inf bailed and charged us. We had a big laugh as we realized a full sq was bum rushing us and scrambled to get to the techie. I managed to shoot one of the inf as we fled from the swarm of russians and the BTR blew up soon after we left if I remember correctly.

    Re: Your last ambush

Not really sure if this constitutes as an ambush but here it goes:

Last night EST on Qwai while on the US side towards the end of the round the US firebase was under heavy attack, bodies were falling left and right. I managed to make my way up a bit, while laying down some suppressive fire around the E4 area (the west side of north bridge where there are those two houses and to the west there is that grouping of hills), when I was able to take out a Chinese SL, throw down my ammo kit, heal myself with the Chinese SL patches and re up on ammo.

I positioned myself East of the hills in the low lying rice paddy area and between a group of trees, and as a grenadier and AR was putting down heavy fire to the north, I was able to take them out, leaving the troops crossing the road heading north completely exposed, and in the process was able to take out 3-4 of them as well as the medic who was en route to revive.

In this scenario I having the Chinese scoped SL kit worked to my advantage due to the Chinese side thinking that they were being fired on by friendlies and they didn't turn around and fire in my direction.

However I am unsure if this constitutes as a so called "ambush" so if it doesn't let me know.

    Re: Your last ambush

Where were you? Fools Road 64, just East of Train Depot as a Russian.

What did you use? A mine and C4.

How did it work out? Killed the TOW Spandrel.

Just add what ever you did last time
The enemy Spandrel had taken out one of our tanks, which is where I lay my trap. I put a mine just beyond the tank husk in a ditch, using the fact that the other tank was at Warehouse, and the TOW was bound to come. However, instead of the TOW coming, a Log Truck came flying out and hit the mine. Knowing that I still needed to kill the TOW, I placed a C4 charge on the now dead Logi truck, and lo and behold, not 1 minute later... the Spandrel! I sat hiding beneath the shade of a tree on the hill above the road, and watched the TOW move up slowly until it was close to the C4 - embedded log truck. At this point I blew it up, and ran away to get shot by an enemy squad who was waiting for me.

    Irony?

    Engineer kit w/ C4

    How did it work out?
I was travelling with an APC for protection and it killed an enemy logistics truck. All of a sudden I heard a spandrel in the area perhaps in the woods out of sight. So I got out stuck C4 in the middle of the road while the APC continued to Train Depot. I assumed the Spandrel would try and follow + kill the BTR and as soon as I saw the Spandrel drive near my C4... I hit the button and killed it.

It was probably the most on-the-spot ambush I have ever done.

Where? Mestia, on the militia side.

With what? Pretty basic infantry squad, I was carting around the PKM. We set up on the hill beside the road that leads north from the east tower as an enemy squad was marching up on foot.

How'd it go? When the SL gave the order, we opened up, and my PKM did most of the heavy lifting. The enemy squad went down in moments, and if I recall correctly only one of them managed to avoid the initial barrage, but didn't last long either. The SL, whose name I can't recall, did an awesome job of setting us up at the right place, at the right time, and giving the order at the perfect moment, and the rest of us were patient and attentive enough for it to work. It's been quite some time since I've seen a squad work like that.

    Where: Just now, Dragon Fly.
With: NimbleD driving, me gunning the militia T54 - using it as a stationary emplacement at various golden spots.
How: Tank lasted about 4/5ths of the over 2 hour game, and when we went down we mined the northern crossing and killed a Warrior with a squad mounted. We got killed there by infantery just before the round ended.
    Net total (if my math's correct): 3 C2s(30 tickets) + 6 Warriors (IFV right? 60 tickets) + 4 supplytrucks (40 tickets) + 1 landrover (2 tickets) + 27 kills = 159 tickets. Minus the 14 tickets we cost our team (4 deaths and 1 tank). Awesome round.
