Discussion: Project Reality / PR:BF2 - Here's to you, random PR player... - This is a humorous thread about funny/interesting things about players but not necessarily about some
This is a humorous thread about funny/interesting things about players but not necessarily about some game action. I was just thinking about some of the funnier things that tend to happen during PR.
Think along the lines of this:
Here's to you, guy who only plays when drunk. You're hilarious.
Here's to you, guy who when joining my squad tells me he's naked.
Here's to you, guy who when excited flips into his native language.
Here's to you, guy who forgets which team he's on.
Here's to you, guy who gets confused and runs away from SL markers. Whoops.
Here's to you, guy who no matter what the odds, will drive full transport trucks through the enemy defense to only flip the truck. How anticlimactic.
Here's to you, guy who "gets extreme." Twice.
Here's to you, guy who gets banned and goes on mumble to start insulting everyone.
Here's to you, guy who does the perfect Arnold impersonation.

Here's to you, new guy who joined the squad, took a sniper rifle, and starting telling the SL how to win the game.
You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to,
So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.Pink Floyd "Dogs"
Here's to you, guy who vocalizes his shots with a 'pow pow' over VOIP.
Here's to you, guy who does flips while doing a CAS run.
Here's to you, guy who throws his rope off the roof, keeping the rest of the squad stuck on top of it.
Here's to you, guy is staring at 105 with a tow while their spotter is screaming 150.
Here's to you, guy is is throwing bandaids on the ground while his squad leader is afk, his medic is healing him, and the people around him are being shot.
Here's to you, blue medic man. you walk over wounded smurfs like no body's business, cause you've got to save your epipens for when your SL has your squad cross an open road without covering fire. So crack open a smoke grenade, medic man, you're gonna need it.
Here's to you, SL number 2. You moan and complain about other squads working towards a different objective than your own, because your logic is oh so clear; Here's to you, when you fail to defend the objective you declared to be so much more important and leave us fighting for our last objective rather than the enemy's first...
Here's to you random visitor to our server,
- thanks for being enthusiastic,
- thanks for trying,
- thanks for making me remember I'm supposed to be welcoming and show new people the ropes
- thanks for following orders better than some vets,
- thanks for out of the blue surprising me by finding that medic kit and rezzing the whole squad like it was nothing
- thanks for choosing TG.

You're not..
You're not doing it right.
Also. Here's to you, guy who say's "Over" or "How Copy" over mumble SL channel.
Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...

It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
