The beginning of the end of PRBF2 in terms of playerbase perhaps. There are more servers I will not play on because of immaturity and power-mad admins. TG was, in my humble opinion the ONLY server to play on without question. I notice that those aforementioned servers are packed with those who seem to appreciate that sort of behavior. It's hard to imagine if there is a future for PRBF2. Its probably time that I pry my stubborn claw-like grip off of PR and find something else that comes closest to pr type gameplay.
Farewell TG server and thanks to those who supported it.
thank you for all the amazing games TG. This game really was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. And, this community is the best gaming community I have ever encountered
bah, Clips you were definitely a guy I looked out for when making a squad.
"It was about the man to your left and right. We don't do this for freedom, apple pie, but for the man to your left and right. The privates, lance corporals, and sergeants stand shoulder-to-shoulder in the face of the enemy, Honor Among Men."
- Sergeant Todd Rosalez

Firstly, if I seem to make a complaint or passive aggressive statement I'm not expressing myself well, because it's certainly not my intention.
Secondly, yes Kidding in the time before the end I often played with you guys and had a great time. But I've played here for many years and was speaking in a broader sense.

Never apologize for being an *******. that's the best sort to be.
I'm a bit late here but I still feel like posting! I haven't been active in PR for almost 2 years but it's still very, very sad to see the TG server close. I always had the most fun on the TG server, it's how I found this community in the first placea and with it a ton of great people. PR inspired me to join the army, it has tought me more english then any teacher ever will and most of all it gave me countless hours of fun.
Thanks to all the admins, players and supporting members that keep the server going for so long.
very sad I meet so many great people on the server, I see some you playing bf3 but its not the same. Hope to still play some rounds with you guys as it was so much fun
With the not so friendly EA, I guess we can't expect to have another PR with the same "style of gameplay" that this one provided...
I dont think it'll come from EA as they milk the players via DLC having a mod is just too much competition. That whole aspect came from CS where the mod actually created game sales, it still can but they see it as a threat to their profits now so a different attitude
Arma or next year Arma 3 could still crack the perfect ratio of action to strategy. Its a great game, over 60 players I have seen just not every night like PR was and also its a naturally slower more divided game, I always like the instant hit the ground running type BF2 aspect to PR games especially on TG
BF3 on TG is ok I have to say, people do squad up properly from what I briefly seen. Its just not pr, still worth a go. I count it as a sequel to BC not BF imo

If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have obviously failed to plan properly.

Even though I was never fully part of the community, TG PR was the best gaming experience I've ever had.
Daym, I just read this on the PR forums, then read this on the TG forums and looked you up on Skype to talk to you about this... It's 2 in the morning so... But here you are, hehe.
Damn guys. Great times, great times. All the best gaming hours were spent on the TG server. After rage quitting on other servers I gladly spam clicked the TG server to get a spot... Cougar mate, you were the one of the few major dudes who teached me a lot of stuff. Wicks loved your warm british accent and smart SQD leading. Sorry for any hard time I might have given you due to cursing and what not.
Can't remember much more since I barely play the game anymore.
Whatevs - thanks a lot for the great time guys. Life goes on. Long live TG, eh.
I almost wish this thread would die. It makes me sad to think that PR:BF2 on TG is gone, and it may never return if the player base doesn't return with the new release whenever that may be. There is a new CIA server I enjoy playing on, but it doesn't bring the same feeling that I had on TG just because, well it isn't TG. I still can't thank this community enough for giving me the ultimate experience on what I feel is the most complete combat simulator (although I feel PR:A2 will accomplish more than PR:BF2 has because A2 was designed from the ground up as a total combat simulator) that is available at the moment.
Well keep an eye on planetside2 guys. While it is set in the future,it has 20players per server, 10 man squads with voip integrated, vehicle voip integrated, 30 man platoons as largest unit they support with the ui and voip structure . It has a commander. Beta has started, it's free to play,...
It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
It has been almost 6 months now and I am still waiting for the second peer-review report to come in for my next book (this one is on the future of television).
Things usually unfold faster than...
