Re: Introduce Yourself
Well I have introduced myself here before, but I've now got this nice new icon below my name that I wanted to show off! So this means...I'm here to stay!
(I may even become a worthwhile player eventually too!)

Re: Introduce Yourself
I had a really good experience on a TG server tonight, so I figured I'd register and check out the forums. I joined a squad with Belhade, Blood and Goatboy and had an excellent experience tonight.
I need some practice at BF2, since I just got a new desktop PC after nearly two years with only laptops and traveling outside the US for awhile, but I'm ready to get back in the saddle.
I played BF42 religiously, and was involved with the XWW2 mod in their testing groups, and then I split off to form [17.SS], which was a BF42 and CoD clan, but we stuck close to the XWW2 guys (I immediately search for realism mods, and BF2 was no exception).
In BF2 so far I'm really enjoying Project Reality and seem to work well as general infantry, especially support, or crewman.
I'm hoping to join another clan soon as I play much better in a teamwork-based environment and I just ordered a headset earlier today so my constant, "sorry, no mic" message upon joining a squad will be a thing of the past.
Looking forward to playing alongside many of you in future!

Re: Introduce Yourself
did you end up swinning halfway across the map with us, casey?

Great to see new faces here with an interest in our team-based play. Rock on, soldier!

Re: Introduce Yourself
Welcome guys! Be sure to read over the server rules and SOP's. The new folks to PRM should also read over the Players Guide, it will really help out with explaining the changes from vanilla.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hello all.
I haven't actually tried the TG servers yet, but having been utterly impressed with PRM on another public server (apart from the lack of co-ordination between squads..), I'm certain I'll see you all on the TG PRM shortly.
Until then, I'll resume reading through the tons of great intel here on PRM and BF2142.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hello, stumbled upon this server awhile back and enjoyed it so much I play a few rounds most days before I go to work. Great server and great people, team play here is excellent compared to other servers. I am a devoted ground pounder, If I fly we die...I am working on that problem! Take care all and hope to see you on the battleground.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Cougar here
I've been on you server as much as possible since .5. Cant really say anything bad about it other than I always end up in the retard circus sqaud the last few days. There is nothing better than calling for an Extract and having Secret.Squirrul fly over pick up your whole squad and drop them off in a safe LZ. Thanks for the fun times and please, please ethier drop me a squad spot from time to time or join one of mine. After about 2 death with no rally the kindness of my heart kinda melts away and all thats left is frustration.
