Re: Introduce Yourself
My name is Taip3n (36 and English) and have been playing PR on and off since the 0.5 update, on another name till a few weeks ago. Of course I found TG and after a while found not only was it practically the only server I played, but liked the generality of maturity in people there who take time to be civil, non-judgemental and team (people) spirited (though you can’t have it all the time) . I enjoyed it so much that I devoted my Battlefield second character to PR and have been under this name for a little while now.
Since PR is the only game to play in the Battlefield series (well you know what I mean), Taip3n ‘has’ become my name in these realms, and hence the TG world aswell. I like the TG codec and respect it. It says a lot - and if one day I should feel wise enough to wear it, I should be in good company. Here’s to becoming wise then.
And here is a hello to you all.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Welcome to the forums Taip3n! I know I've squadded with you at least once and seen you several times on the server. Glad you like what we have going! Bear in mind that TG isnt just BF2, as I'm sure you've seen. Feel free to explore all of the stuff the community has to offer and I think you'll like it that much more.
Also, dont feed Root or Asch. Bad things come from feeding them.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Taip3n,
I have also squadded with you in the past and found you to be a highly competent player. Either that or you were just compensating for me!! Welcome and like Ferris stated DO NOT feed ROOT.

Hello Tactical Gamer community members. I hope to contribute to the community in times. I really enjoy Tactical Gamer on BF2 Project Reality server with great ping, setting, language system, admin, of course the player and teamwork effort I see most of the time. The perfect mature server. I just started playing PR .05 after I stop playing BF2 since 1.4 and its the exact mod I was looking for.
You can find me usally in a teamwork or voice ip squad if you desire to squad up. I absolutly enjoy being a medic in both BF2 and PR soly because of the teamwork, survive ratio, and the fact that everyone likes a medic. ^^
See you on the battlefield! -salute-

Re: Introduce Yourself
hello, I'm happynoobing, started playing PR during 0.4. i think i've only played in TG server once or twice, but this is one of the best servers i've found.
anyway, last year of highschool sure is busy, so i don't have that much time to play anymore, but i will play whenever i have time and hopefully get in. <-- the server always seems to be full.

Re: Introduce Yourself
I was originally doubtful of the quality of PR 0.4 based on the screenshots and how it looked so similar to BF2. However, when I tried it I was hooked and have been ever since. It's great to play on TacticalGamer's server because of the discipline of admins and cooperative atmosphere of the server. The one distinguishing trait of the TG PR 0.5 server is the overall sense of coordination and stategy that exists amongst its players.
I pretty much play on TG's server whenever possible and enjoy the fraggin.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Sorry to drop in.
I'm lost with the feeding of certain people. Is this slang for something literal? Or metaphorical? Or just good advise not to stuff turnips down my computer in an altruistic act of giving some poor guys grub? Please explain as I wouldn't want to feed them.
Thanks for the replies; much appreciated. Thanks for the compliment.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Thought I'd make an official "hello" post - I've been lurking and posting for a (small) while here now, so here it is...
*drumroll*
Hello.
*angels sing, women weep, trumpets trumpet, etc, etc*
Hope to see you all on the Battlefield at some point - I've really been enjoying the TG games, especially now I've moved to PRM, with the occasional PoE bout, but I'm finding it harder and harder to move away from PR, it just gets better the more I play, and get to know it...I'm still baffled by some of the maps though, and my aim isn't as hot as it should be - but I'm getting there.
So if I end up on your squad, please be kind if I do manage to get you all annihalated in some horrible display of noob prowess!
I've also become a supporting member, because the ethos here is spot-on, and regardless of how much I play now and in the future, I thought I'd like to make a contribution to the community - I appreciate how much hard work it must take to keep this place going, and I appreciate the effort put in so that like-minded people can enjoy such a place. It also comes in handy when the server is showing 62/64, but I digress...
Hope to see you all on the Battlefield at one stage or another.7Shades

Re: Introduce Yourself
I too have been lurking for a while and absorbing all the juicy Squad Leader info you have here, but I decided to register.
My Project Reality screenname is N!SF ThePhotoshop. I actually managed to have a go on your server earlier this morning, and I found it to be excellent. Though, being that I'm in Australia and get a constant ping of around 280, I'm guessing you guys don't want me in there much.
I usually play with a group of Aussie regulars on the GSA-BIGDY server.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Allo some of you woulkd have been shooting me quite a bit recently
I was [PCGF] RollyPolly untill the pcgamerforum decided to become rubbish and now you'll see me as Sekrit RollyPolly, I've been playing on the TG PRM/POE/2142 servers a bit over the last few months and I've finally gotten around to registering on the boards here.
If you took a pot shot at a helo and by chance a body fell out it was probably me I'm lucky that way. I'm sure you'll see me over your Iron sights soon.
