Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi everyone!!
Now that I got my Voip to work on PR (needed re-install), I´m going to try to learn the ropes of the mod. Don´t get too agitated if I do stupid things
Thanks for your patience Portable.Cougar, warlab and Bullseye yesterday. Have to find out what´s wrong with my mouse... The button only froze inside vehicles, not as infantry... Must admit, that the out of control horn was annoying.Proud to have been part of the 101st Siege Corps of Engineers

Re: Introduce Yourself
Finally able to post here so I get to introduce myself at last

Been playing at TG for a while now and been really enjoying it. There's a few who know me already, to the other I'd say: See you on the battlefield one day.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Welcome..
First lets get your VOIP situation figured out..
Post a thread HERE with your computer spec's... Hardware, operating system, and then like and the nature of the VOIP problem and see if we cant find a solution.
And posting the same on the PR Technical Support Forums couldnt hurt either.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hey guys, just started playing PR again and its awesome. Ive been playing with TG on and off for quite a few years starting with when vanilla BF2 was still the main focus.
All i remember from back then is buggy racing and jumping from blackhawk to blackhawk 600 feet up, good times ...

Re: Introduce Yourself
I believe it's time I finally be a little polite and say hello since today I'm going to try and see if I 'm cool with wearing the |TG| tag.
What more do I want to say than my profile reveals... I'm kind of a loner, I don't stick around much. I connect, help my squad and am gone to a solo game of a different sort (RPG, RTS, flight sim, whatever).
I've been playing PR since 0.4-0.5 and on your server since the public beta of 0.6. That's when I first had the chance to play with a dev (fuzzhead) who brought my tactical gaming experience to a high level of enjoyment.
I wanted to find competent squad leaders whenever I decided to play and therefore grew accustomed to your server.
I spent a year in the official tournament too, finished there as armour leader for my team (PLA). Had to leave mainly because of the monotony feel after some time. After all, I could experience a decent level of tactical teamplay at a casual rate here so why commit there ?
Been playing a little ArmA too but the problem with this game is that you can't have everyone have the same content as you.
So as it looks like I'm going to be faithful to good ol'PR a lot more time, I salute you all for the very good impression TG has made on me so far and hope to fight alongside you great people some epic battles.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hey all you new people. Good to see you here
If people are becoming so bored when playing that they have to resort to this immature behaviour I will give them something to do, call it a project. The project is "appeal a ban". - Wicks

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hello all,
I've been an on-off player on the TG servers for about a year now, although the last 6 months I've had a bit of a hiatus due to moving house, needing to upgrade my machine etc.
I originally came to TG as I'd started playing 2142 and a few weeks ago I picked up BF2 on the cheap.
I've messed around a bit with PR in my own time, and quite frankly I'm getting nowhere.
So I'm hoping there will be some TGers out there who will be willing to give me the benefit of their sagely advice and instruction as I really don't think I'm ready to just jump into some live servers yet, and playing vanilla BF2 on public servers made me realise how much better the quality of play is on a TG server.
As an aside I live inthe UK, so as far as time constraints go any European based players may be better plaed to help, but I'll happily take help from anyone here that would be kind enough to spare me the time.
chairlord.
