Re: Kill Messages Options
Yes, it would take away ambiguity in that you know who got you. However, by compromise, I didn't mean that this proposal would keep the hard-core sim fans completely happy- I meant it is a sacrifice of some realism in exchange for a stronger sense of community. (also, I don't see how it would tell you where you were killed from.)
As others have pointed out, this discussion is meaningless without the power to change things to what we all would consent to, so I'll get round to registering and posting/PM over at the PRM forums.
All this is part of getting the server consistently populated with TGers, which i think is going to take some time.Last edited by Ale; 12-06-2006 at 12:45 PM. Reason: clarity

Re: Kill Messages Options
Just that if you know certain players tendencies(which is mentioned before as a reason for the messages) then you would have a better idea where they were and going to be.
Also I didn't mean to knock the compromise idea. It's a good idea, but I just think it might be more of an all or nothing situation.|TG-12th| tHa_KhAn

Re: Kill Messages Options
I like the kill messages since this is a computer game and I can only ascertain so much from a video screen and speakers.
