I'll do what I can to show up. I personally like the goal-oriented game modes rather than the "conquer everything" mode. Of course, gotta hope that the team works together for this type of play. :P

Thanks Corridon, saved me some time looking for that. (busy day)

I agree on the goal oriented gameplay Tarpan. I think it really puts the emphysis on having a good commander and solid squad play.

We were quite late getting started. Some of us developed mic issues once we started VIP mode, which is odd. I seem to be suffering CTD all of a sudden too. I'm wondering if something in the server update might have affected this mode.

Seems to me like the mode needs some work, at least on Al Basrah. The first round USMC just drove the SUV around where the insurgents can't spawn or even get to very quickly, and then apparently blitzed through the checkpoint and got to airport.

The second round I was... forced to retaliate!

    Extraction is still running.

I just got disconnected, or rather bf2 became unresponsive so I rebooted.

It was a bit of a late start.

USMC won the first 2 rounds. It was interesting, but many players had no idea what was goin' on. I'm sure they will catch on and it should be a blast when everyone figures it out.

The insurgents spawn just north of the checkpoint, so they can get to it much faster than the SUV. What really disappointed me, was that a single squad had the poor form to make a run for the win before everyone had even finished spawning in. There's no value in such a win.

I think the US needs more tickets on this map. Each time you lose the SUV, you lose 100 tickets currently.
