Re: Project Reality Password Nights Are Here!
once again, thank you admins for another great PW night! It was a ton of fun, and I could only hope that maybe instead of 2 pw nights we can stretch it out to 3 a week in the future.
Great choices of maps, and even though i was on the losing team a few times it still was a blast!!!
Thanks agains for including the flash video as the only way to access the PW!!Randy = Ace ! - Warlab

Re: Project Reality Password Nights Are Here!
For YOUR team. *grumbes and whines*
I kid. The first few maps there were great fun, though Kashan was freaking painful. I was in the US chopper team, and it was just one freak accident after another... one midair collision, one heavily damaged chopper exploding because of a slight bump on landing, and one accidental press of the "e" key a couple seconds after takeoff (with a squad in the chopper, no less).
And lets not forget the damned umbituous vodniks-with-gunners that kept putting holes in my birds. Hell, there was one that camped out in the mountains overlooking north village, and only opened up when I landed. The chopper got back to base in one piece, but *I* bled out the moment I jumped back out of my chopper.
Stupid vodniks.

Eagerly awaiting the start of password night, since it was hinted that we'd be playing some insurgency maps. Hopefully we'll have one nice and early to cater for us europeans.

Re: Project Reality Password Nights Are Here!
I'm sure that these complaints are meant as just well-meaning little jabs, but I'm personally a little aggravated by it.
Admins are real people with real lives. All of the PR admins devote a LOT of time to the server and the community. Some of us spend our work days monitoring the server. Some of us leave our speakers on all night so that we can be awoken and help out if something goes wrong in the middle of the night. Some of us watch the server while sitting in classes. Some of us even have families. Three of the five active PR admins live in the United States, with Cola and Steiner probably not feeling comfortable enough to start up password night on their own.
Password night needs to have continuous admin coverage, so it isn't going to start until we know for sure we are going to have an admin around the whole time and one on that can turn it off when we're done.
Sorry, but sometimes things just don't work out.
No matter what we do or how hard we try, we just can't seem to please, can we?
