I played the role of the footsoldier sgt one round, and tank gunner the next.
Feedback: It's good to know you can call in your tank buddy if things get hot and heavy. They're a great way of "breaking the ice" if you are having a heated conversation with an enemy squad.
On the other hand, I tried to keep my boys in the woodline. There was a lot of reviving going on, but the tank was hindered by limited mobility and not able to support us as well.
In hindsight, we did it backwards...we kept our tank to our backs while fighting deeper into the woods. We should have done it the other way around.
A tactic to think about...circle to the far side of the woods between the enemy and the tank. Try to make them WANT to retreat towards the waiting tank by using 2 Grenadiers, 1 Medic, 1 Rifleman for the squad loadout.
On the next round, I tried my hand at being a tank gunner. John and I quickly found out that the gunner's seat has VERY limited visibility compared to the driver's view. I'm talking in terms of how far you can see. John was calling targets that I just could not see. We started getting frustrated until we switched seats and he found out what I was seeing (or not seeing as the case may be).
Lesson learned: The gunner has to take some things on faith...if the driver is calling for a shot "Between those two buildings" just do it even if you can't see 'em.|TG-9th| Prophaniti

Time for round three. Meet on teamspeak if you want in I'll try and do another ARMDCAV squad but if we get and infantry only map I'll have my INFAnTRY squad up.
New SOP's
3 Versions for squads
1. APC Squad
A. APC with dedicated gunner/driver
B. SL on foot leading the infantry
C. FTL assinged for APC crew
D. Squad will use APC/SL as main spawn with RP set up as back up
E. Infantry will use APC for transport
F. Kit assignment: Infantry element: SL as officer with 1 Medic 1 Rifle 1 Grenadier forming the rest of the squad.
2. Tank Squad
A. Tank with dedicated gunner/driver
B. SL as driver of tank
C. FTL assigned for infantry element
D. Third spot on tank left open for spawn location
E. Infantry will use HVY jeep for transport
K. Kit assignments left up to FTL
3. Tank Squad
A. Two Tanks or APC Combo
B. Fire Teams based on Vehcles Alpha.Bravo
C. Kit assignment: Two teams of dedicated Driver/gunners with engineer support
D. Engineers will be used as forward observers.18th SFOD Executive OfficerTG Arma Spartan No. 11
