You need to be very close to level when you land. Also once the bird sits down you have to keep "flying" it. It will want to tip on its side if it's not perfectly level.

Is there a way to tell the QM to give me a kit whenever I damn well please? He's getting on my nerves.

That helo practice map has Pilot as the only kit.

That helo practice map causes PRM to crash to the desktop without warning upon load.

At the end of the first page on the realitymod.com thread discussing the flyboy map:

"Put all of your settings on medium. I know that with some custom maps there are two settings, i belive its texture and terrain, that needed to be at least on medium of the game would crash. With those specs you should be able to run all game settings on high with AA with no problem at all."

    Re: Helo lessons?

I have to run everything on lowest right now; medium is not an option (or at least wasn't in vanilla BF2), as it causes low framerates (read: 0.5 fps).
