So do alot of people, that heli flies like a cow with CJD

Try the Merlin heli on operation train if you want a steady heli

Does anyone else use a MS sidewinder precision 2 in PR

I use a sidewinder precision. I also use my keyboard for throttle inputs and yaw controls. This works best for me.

Im using keyboard for throttle and steering but I find mouse works best for pitch and roll especially with all the slight balancing movements needed to stablise in PR

I cant get used to joystick on the jets though, good at heli and crap at planes unfortunately

If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have obviously failed to plan properly.

Yeah, I can't get the hang of helicopters with joysticks. I actually only use my joystick in BF1942, since I can never get my hands on any such aircraft in BF2.
