Re: When you get revived, chances are you should move!
A better clarification is ticket loss occurs at the point where you cannot be revived after dying. So if you get killed in a vehicle, ticket loss occurs instantly even though the the timer just starts. You also get situations like getting run over, death by arty, and suiciding where the body disappears soon afterwards and that would be a ticket loss.

Re: When you get revived, chances are you should move!
semi relevant bump.
Though 2 medics are not in the scenario anymore, but being able to get directions on where to move and and having suppressing fire put down if need be for you to move is worthwhile. However, maybe its just me but I've seen some be able to sprint after being revived, alas i can never do that and have to hope and pray i don't get shot again.Randy = Ace ! - Warlab

Re: When you get revived, chances are you should move!
Its worth bumping, common problem in the game I'd say. Second only to medics walking past people needing a revive
If the victim is black screen they can still throw smoke which personally I'd appreciate most of the time. If it was deadly ground previously chances are smoke can only help.
Other stuff might be to drop an ammo bag since a good medic can run out of revives
Squaddies can throw patches on a guy needing a revive, to mark it, to help heal and get him moving and also to move the legs of the body out of an obstruction or whatever
best thing about pr is there rarely times that some thought doesnt help improve the odds a bit

Re: When you get revived, chances are you should move!
I've gotten better lately at paying attention to the shadowy figures hovering about me as I get revived and following the one I think is the medic to his hidey-hole.

Re: When you get revived, chances are you should move!
one of the reasons I love mumble is that you can give specific instructions to teh wounded.
"When I revive you, follow me/Head NW"
"Don't stare at me!!! Cover the door!"
etc
as an SL I treat a downed squad member as a minimission :P once on bi ming we were withdrawing (i.e. running) from Communications since the next flag was neutral, one of us was taken down, so we all fixed bayonets and charged back with various warcries. But we got suppressed, but we were so near our comrade, we were saying on mumble "We Won't Leave You Behind!!"
Eventually fought our way to him, revived and ran, won the round as well

Re: When you get revived, chances are you should move!
Too right.
Some of the best medics give the person who they revived/going to revive, directions on where to go. For example:
"Go east after I've revived you, keep prone, and I'll tell you when to stop."
This greatly improves safety for the person being revived, as you are telling them to go to a point where they'll be covered from the point they were killed. If you're reving a blue guy, you could type it out, or just hope. Or get mumble.
Note :I'm not copying the below/above post. I posted this only after seeing the initial thread-post. So don't get your knickers in a knot.|TG-69th|Berlancic2"Speed. Aggression. Surprise."

Re: When you get revived, chances are you should move!
I think this is a bit to open ended to properly discuss. Every revive is unique, the parameters change. Theres never going to be a perfect revive formula. Sometimes you have to move, sometimes you dont. Sometimes you need to use your patch aswel as the medic to get it done fast, sometimes you need to get up and bloody leg it.

Re: When you get revived, chances are you should move!
Main thing to remember is you have 5min to revive some one!
At one point my squad got ambushed and every one got killed, luckly i was the only one left alive coughing and bleeding, i rushed for the medic kit and hid. 4 minutes later after the enemy left i ran down and revived the squad.
Time is your friend use it wisely!PR ingame name - |TG-Irr| SilverJohn
