Re: Password Nights - A dying breed
Lith1um,
I watched that part of the battle from your perspective. Battlerecorder is the bee's knees
.You didn't put that RP in the wall and while it wasn't moved, it eventually became a hot area so maybe the SL was otherwise engaged, I also saw that various people on the Chinese side pointed out that it should be. That's commendable sportsmanship.
My post to you might have come off a little tit for tat. I think it was well played that you tracked me down. I thought it was funny that we traded the HAT kit for awhile. Nice try at hitting our chopper with it. You missed but came so so close. Too bad you got sideswiped each time.
And again I say that I took the concerns of the Chinese side seriously when they ingame global texted about AT infrantry sniping. But I caution everyone from reacting to hearsay.
Check out the Battle Recorder for yourselves. When the Chinese started voicing their concerns in text to us, The USMC and our 2 HAT guys had been targeting vehicles. I had not yet made the 3 shots I took at the sniper or entrenched infrantry. Though Sanada had taken his 3rd and 4th shot of the game at the boat in the boathouse. Behind which were 2 Chinese one with a support 50 cal who had just wounded him.

Re: Password Nights - A dying breed
Hearsay? You're getting a little out of control. You shot 4 heavy rockets at infantry. One next to the bridge, one at a sniper(?) up in the west hills behind fishing village, and you shot a rocket twice at the same spot on that little hill by the riverbank. And yeah don't worry I just watched the BFR file.
So let me get this straight. Chinese players voiced their concern about AT sniping. And then you go from targeting vehicles to targeting infantry. And yet you're still here trying to defend your reason for targeting infantry with HAT?Check out the Battle Recorder for yourselves. When the Chinese started voicing their concerns in text to us, The USMC and our 2 HAT guys had been targeting vehicles. I had not yet made the 3 shots I took at the sniper or entrenched infrantry.
It's just incredulous that you still think that your actions are acceptable.|TG-12th| jmaker

Re: Password Nights - A dying breed
jmaker,
I guess I fundamnetaly dissagree that hiting a sniper or entrenhed infrantry whom are behind solid objects is always forbidden or even bad TG play. As was the case with the HAT shots I took in the first half of the game after complaints were made.
I watched the Battle recorder from a number of player's perspectives. I could find no cases of HAT abuse. But I take your concerns seriously. If I missed something or if you want to point out an incident to illuminate your opinion, please PM me with the player's name I should view in BR for an further perspective. Maybe you saw something I did not.

Re: Password Nights - A dying breed
Personaly I thought the round was fairly well balanced overall and I thought the end result was fair. The USMC worked harder for their win and my team got stuffed.
The two USMC HAT's effectively had control of the bridge and fishing village area. I didnt know you had the apc stationed there, but I knew that someone in that gen area had just popped my apc (which was in the water).
I went looking for you and didn't notice you laying there until I was about 10 ft away. After killing you my intention was to keep the kit as long as possible and deny your team access to it. Hence the back and forth fight over the kit.
As for the RP, when I realized it was glitched it was clear to me that it was intentionaly placed. (my opinion only, based on it's position. I haven't watched the round.)
