Project Realiy Beta to replace main PR server
The project reality v0.5 version will be coming down shortly. In its stead, Tactical Gamer will be running the beta full time until the full v0.6 release is out. This change will take place within the next 24 hours.

There have been some questions about the settings of the beta server so I wanted to add a comment about those settings.
Tactical Gamer is working with the Project Reality team to run one of the few US-based beta servers. We're running the maps they've requested with the stock settings. We understand that many of these settings are more exaggerated than they will be with the full release. This was done by the dev team for testing purposes.Last edited by asch; 07-06-2007 at 10:05 AM.

Well this will suck for me since every time I load in the beta I get kicked by punkbuster within a few mins.

Cool, I just D/L it on 6/23/07, and been checking it out.
So far I like it, but there was a problem on 6/25/07, in the igi server when the VOIP stopped working for everyone. Now the best server ever, TG, is going to run it, so now I can get the teamwork playing style from the TG server.

Good question. How many Betas will there be before the official release of V.6? V.607 will be the 3rd V.6 Beta I've DL'd and installed and at 2GB a time over a slow link, it's something of a PITA.. Originally Posted by Dirtboy

- 0.607 should be the last beta release, if everything goes according to plan, official release of 0.6 will be somewhere next week.

The server has been changed over. We're running v0.607rc1 (release candidate 1). Release candidates mean that the dev team is happy with the state of the mod with the major bugs fixed. If everything goes well with this RC, then they will release the full version afterwards.
