    Guys am wondering what my system specs are (I'm no good with computers)

    Could someone explain?

    XPS M1710 Core 2 Duo Processor T7400 (2.16 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache, 667 MHz FSB) 1
    N09XPS6 - XPS M1710 Better
    Microsoft Vista Capable Logo Label 1
    2048MB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024) 1
    120GB (5,400 rpm) SATA Hard Drive

    Is this ok for the new release?

    Would this be ok to support Arma?

    I'm not exactly a computer genius either but the system specs seem to indicate that it would run BF2 PRM and Armed Assault BUT it looks like you forgot your video card specs for those more knowledgeable to comment on.

    Ie : Manufacturer , model and memory.
    I'm not in my second childhood , I simply never outgrew my first

    I think you're fine. You won't be running ArmA on high settings or max view distance, but I think you can handle medium settings. You should also be able to run BF2 and PR on Maximum settings.

    That's a very nice laptop. I used to be a Dell technician/salesman. Those are roughly equal to some of the AlienWare systems (especially since Dell bought AW last year). Definitely capable of playing anything out these days.
