Re: Hate bleeding out as a medic? Me too!
This is certainly not an exploit.
Sure, it was a bug in previous release, but they said they'd keep it in the future because Medics are extremely vulnerable when healing themselves that way.
I used to play medic a lot, and not the rambo type. I'd support my squad 100%. When starting playing .6, I didn't know about the feet healing and I fastly found it was unfair that the medic couldn't heal himself. It's not like his gun is very useful. So you end up just waiting in the back trying to heal your teammates, and when you get shot no one would be healing you for lack of another medic. Now at least you can do it by aiming at your feet, standing up mind you. I don't know if you tried, but you really are vulnerable when healing yourself that way. I certainly need to take good cover, and it's not easy.
I say good for keeping this "bug" and turning it into a feature.

Oh no, I dont really consider it an exploit...but as in an exploit of gameplay...Medics can still heal themselves, which does indeed leave them vulnerable, but rambo medics can come back into action by simply hiding and healing. I dont know, maybe I'm an elitist, but I was hoping this would be knowledge theat you learn, not just find on a forum.
